When I was with Pfizer, this 'contract' thing came on my radar. We suddenly had a 'contract' partner that was going to share calls on primary care docs for a lame hypertensive drug we had. The lady was nice and earnest and hard-working and I liked her. We had her come to little breakfast meetings and give input as an equal partner. That was a long time go.
Now, the contract business is pretty big and, sometimes, looks like the direction this may all be heading to. There is also a bunch of suspicion and resentment to go along with it.
I say, hey, we're all in the same boat.
