A product with lackluster efficacy, side effects and a premium price over cheap

The busiest board on cafepharma. Too bad that 64,998 of the views are all negative due to the Scientific Hire Process. What a great accomplishment to hit 65,000 views. Ann Arbor is beaming over this . What a special launch. There really has been some clamoring. And the stock continues to suck.
 




Between all the posts of this board Esperion has gone from a no nothing company with 1 string of Esperion blogs to huge amounts of postings . This is the busiest board on cafepharma. 98% are all negative. Can you imagine a potential employee researching the company on here as we all did before the Scientific Interviews? Or potential investors ? Or Esperions competition? It's actually embarassing to be employed here. Our competition is laughing at us.
 








Management brought this on themselves. Conducting unethical interviews with their blessings has put them in the current situation. The wrong hires along with a lack of understanding the market and how to drive business has been their downfall. Despite management poaching and stealing information from reps that interviewed it's all blowing up in their faces. Super weak sales, a dismal first quarter earnings report and a second one coming soon should out a fork in this drug. There's no place for this drug in an already crowded space and with giving 17-22% reductions generics will dominate. If unable to get lower than you pull out the big boy Repatha to do the job. This has been the most bungled launch we've seen in sometime. The reps having no accountability for last 5 months with the laid back vacation atmosphere only breeds disfunction. Amazing Ann Arbor embraces this.

Good points here, and overall it’s going to be a niche drug. Probably a 50 rep sales force, not 300, is what will be financially justified. But let’s be Honest, there has Never been a worse time to launch a drug; it’s good to see Rx growth under the circumstances.

I know it's been different but we also have seen a surge in business each week, and I know this will continue as states and clinics start to open up. We obviously had a dramatic increase the last data point. I just want you to know that the company is strong and in good hands. And thank you for not engaging the sole poster who feels slighted because he wasn't hired. He wasn't well prepared and had issues concerning performance. We can dismiss him and his comments outright as a waste of time. There is a reason he isn't here. And it's difficult to sit back and take cheap shots when you'd really like to fire back.

Stay focused. We are winning, and will continue to win. We've got many new all time highs for scripts across the country and this will continue as we press forward. Lets make it a great week. Stay positive, stay up. We are making a difference.

Well after reading this my constipation issue has suddenly cleared up. What data points? What numbers are you looking at ? I'm looking a wholesale product in distribution channels that I see. Yes, some reps have connections with wholesalers who they once worked with. Another bogus posts. CB just can't control himself and for christ's sake it's not one sole poster. Just keep thinking that CB if that's what you need to tell your C Team. I know 4 other regular posters here . 3 are current employees. I went back to device after the Scientific Interview debacle so couldn't be happier working for a real company and put the shit stain Scientific interview behind me 3 days afterwards. I occasionally check in to see how things are going and it doesn't look good. Seeing my friend docs in cath lab talk about BA has really shed light that I was blessed with not being hired. They did tell me that the Esperion rep who calls or has attempted to pester their offices is sloppy and unprofessional. There more alarmed about their lack of market knowledge and can't answer any questions about adverse events. This is something that all my docs have talked about . Good selling and good luck as your going to need it from what I see. Now off to do some cases !

yeah right SA. A device rep who looks at "wholesale production channels." Now thats funny. Nice try dick face. Device reps don't do wholesale jag off. Its direct. But you didnt know that because you make things up. Youre unemployed. Get back to your Ozark episodes. Come back after a few more beers. I see CB has been back. And, he totally owns you. I love it.
 




Moving forward you won't be hearing about the Scientific Process anymore in the interview process. Management has realized this was a mistake based people hired and who's left already. Who leaves in a pandemic? Is it that bad here as you've basically been asked to do next to nothing for 5 months. The RD's haven't had to do ride a longs due to social distance and there's only so much so much computer busy work to do. The script volume is weak despite what CB says as he would find something positive in a train wreck. CB claims multiple companies are using this Scientific process and specifically named Amgen as embracing this new format. Not one manager I know at Amgen has even heard of this and when described they all snicker. The stock is down again today. The second quarter report is coming soon and that's when the pressure will hit like a sledgehammer. This team is underperforming.
