Let's just say both companies value each other. The representatives and managers on both sides are held in very high esteem by one another. The overwhelming majority of flex reps are cream of the crop pros. Multiple award-winners who appreciate the opportunity to stay in the game and earn a few bucks without the stress of a full-time pharma role. If they choose to go back to full time, the best find it easy. Many have, either with the EPBU or with Publicis or with a manufacturer.
Most pros get the concept that results are rewarded with more opportunity. That is especially true of EPBU reps and managers, but it is also true of any Publicis employee. This company takes care of its people. That may not be the experience of those who complain here, or even those who play here for sport, but it is the experience of many, including me. With any assignment, your objective should be to be the best you can be. It matters. More to you than the employer.
No top-tier rep needs to hear that, though some might tune in to hear the latest. It's a year before re-up time on a phenomenal assignment. They are interested, because they are smart. The client is smart, too. The meeting was exceptional. EPBU meetings always are. This was the best in many ways, IMO. May there be many more.
To the "This job is more full-time" and "My manager, who I will identify, is bad!" and "How much will I get paid to drive to my storage unit?" crew. We all know better. At least, I do. Spend more time selling and less time embarrassing yourself, almost anonymously. If you need a change, talk to your manager. If your performance is good, you will get help to find a role more in line with your needs. The line of candidates who want what you have is long and impressive.
You are welcome.
