A response from a clearly under-educated person who cannot present facts nor refute what has been presented on why EV's aren't good choices. And why assume the person is a rep? Could be anyone with an ounce of common sense. Something you do not possess.
Gasoline is a toxic and highly flammable liquid. The vapors given off when gasoline evaporates and the substances produced when gasoline is burned (carbon monoxide, nitrogen oxides, particulate matter, and un-burned hydrocarbons) contribute to air pollution and cancers. Burning gasoline also produces carbon dioxide, the number one toxin leading to climate change.
Child slave labor is used in African countries to mine most of the cobalt used in EV batteries. This is bad!!! Enslaving black children so that liberal elites can virtue signal is really bad!! Mining Cobalt and other toxic substances is really really really bad!! Particles emitted during cobalt mining consists of radioactive emissions, cancer-causing particles, and particles which may cause vision problems, vomiting and nausea, heart problems, and Thyroid damage.
I'm not happy about the electric vehicle situation but just stop with the dumb anti vaxx nonsense. I'm a Republican but am so sick of people who somehow now think being a flat earth, anti vaxxer is part of being a conservative and a badge of courage. Embarassing.
Keep droning on from your ivory tour but that really ian't the central issue being discussed here. You clearly are not a field based employee and clearly lack even a rudimentary understanding of the situations and safety issues many will be put in and have to face with this way too early, misinformed, one size fits all decision.
If you really think that the environment is less important than the economy, try holding your breath while you count your money. Strongly support AZ's GREEN efforts!
Tree huggers are driven more by emotion, not logic. Despite some very cogent arguments by those who have presented their reasons EV's are not ready for prime time in some territories, the response has been an insult, or tired platitudes. I wish I could find a bumper sticker that reads NUKE THE GAY BABY WHALES. That would really tick them all off.
