Going through the motions if you will. The get an extra year credit or two and that is it. If you aren't at your 55 and 10 you get nothing except a bullseye on your back.
A 5.5.1 is what? No such thing. 55 10 1 is age, service, 1 extra year credit to walk now. If you are 60 get excited. The rest of us will keep working.
Also JnJ has no loyalty to anyone regardless of age. 25-65 they will fire you for any reason. You don't have to the bottom of Ustakinumab to know that.

Wonder what the packages will look like once they get rid of all the 55+ ??
Can't be that many still ???
Probably will take Calculus to compute.
 






Does anyone really believe that there will be an early retirement? The way our company is going, I would think they would want to expand. Young reps are great because they have a drive to succeed and older reps are great because they have awesome relationships with their customers. Together we can be GREAT!

Nice sentiments.
But look around, what's the history and behavior been for years???
Only "Early Retirement" will be "get out, try to retire", and that glorious event with HR is usually done "early" in the AM. !!!!
I think that's how the rumor got started.
 






No early retirements will be offer. If anyone bother to read the last corporate statement, it said that termination would be forthcoming. It also stated that it would no longer offer early retirement packages. Bad news for anyone trying to get out. We will get out, but by being fired.

Problem with this is that if you target one rep to fire by using minor HCC violations, time in field, etc., etc., and don't do it to others then you are discriminating, especially if that fired rep falls into one of the protected categories like minority, older, and so on. I don't think that J & J would want to risk lawsuits. Plus the company is doing great right now so why would you want to get rid of good workers for a minor infraction? Then you have to spend oodles of money and time training new sales reps and then wait a year or so for them to get up to speed.

I doubt there will be changes. See you all everyone at next years POA 1!!!!!!

Nobody wants out. Everyone wants to succeed. Retirement is what you do when you are preparing to die. This group is selling their ass off.

I'm disappointed. My manager is disappointed. Half way thru October and no early retirements yet. We want to get rid of the logs around here and there still here. When are we going to move into the future with new blood and ideas?

No early retirements. We didn't have any when OBI did a shuffle. We didn't do one when Janssen was crunched. We won't have any in the dismantling of this boat. Just fired, that is what you will be looking at.

Wrong. I heard for the horses mouth people are getting calls starting next week. Highly placed source says the offers are extremely generous.

Than you must have a great academic and ISG. I would have a great bonus too if mine weren't so bad. They might be ranked in the top of their franchises but they are pulling me down.

No calls you @/$%#€. Here is what the package looks like; you turn over all of your stuff right now. JnJ will give you two weeks pay and have you hit the road now. When you get laid off at least they let you drive their car and use the computer for two months. I had one of those before being rehired and did soto many burnouts in the car I was almost down to metal when I found out I was going to be staying. News flash people...this company treats everyone like crap. Management gets packages. Field sales has the opportunity to leave with all of your holes just a little looser. Stop dreaming and disengage.

Wrongo. Too bad you're not important enough to have my connections. One year minimum for the older reps in order to avoid lawsuits. Who wouldn't grab that? I'm in the forties crowd but if trickled down vacation home here I come!
