She's probably going to send the info to Dynasplint...don't send any resumes to her! She's most likely "freinds" with someone and they've been trying to find out who's writing this blog. TRAITOR!
Can anyone give any information about the neuro division or the manager for the northern region? I have an interview next week and I'm starting to get the feeling that this might be a bad move and I should stay with my current company. Thanks!
There's your answer buddy. I guess you should stay with your current company and pass on DynasplintHave you ever walked past a dumpster that has recently been emptied and the contents compacted in the bowels of the garbage truck leave a pool of iridescent grayish liquid on the curb? I have. What's more, is that every time I encounter this trash can after birth and circumnavigate around the tiny sea of foulness I am unpleasantly reminded of Dynasplint. From the hotel room I shared with a homosexual for an agonizing week during Comp 1 to the embarrassment I felt pitching the product to Orthopedic Surgeons in the field, Dynasplint has in some way, stolen a small piece of my soul. Working for Dynasplint confirmed that I am indeed a loser; I have in one way or another, lost at life.
I am going on my third year with Dynasplint. At the completion of my second year I made 98K. DSI has always been good to me. I am a very hard worker and do not need my RSM and DSM telling me what to do. Of course there is corp crap, but that is everywhere. With DSI, you must put in the time and grow your business. This is not a stepping stone company, this is a company where you sow the seeds the first year and then reap the reward the following year. There are 3 of us colleagues on the same team who are Presidents club reps, we all now that it takes work, consistency, and a love for what we do.
If you are looking to make a quick buck, or use this as a launch pad, go somewhere else. You will only be a burden on those of us who care about Dynasplint and have respect for what they offer.
WOW!! I guess your drinking the corporate kool-aid big time and in your case they must have just formulated some type of kool-aid in crack form. Get real loser!! Any rep that was halfway decent leaves Dynasplint!I am going on my third year with Dynasplint. At the completion of my second year I made 98K. DSI has always been good to me. Are you serious about making $98 in your second year? I'm a new rep to the medical industry and I decided to pass on a position with Dynasplint for another company. The other company I chose over Dynasplint I made $75k base plus a car, bonus and commission for a first year of $125. (Notice my 1st year base is almost more than your 2nd year and I have a company car!!) My second year my salary jumped to $120k for a total of $195k. This year my salary jumped to $155k and I'm on track for $280k. You are truly clueless if you think after 2 years of busting it in the medical sales industry making $98k is ok.I am going on my third year with Dynasplint. I think you are the biggest loser in medical sales!! Your salary and compensation are pathetic! You might as well stay at Dynasplint because you'll never make more anywhere else because you are a loser. Wake up medical reps make well over 100k per year base!!I am going on my third year with Dynasplint. At the completion of my second year I made 98K. DSI has always been good to me. Dynasplints are often issued by salesfolks and company representatives who are NOT clinically qualified to appropriately identify the appropriate splint. Even when there is a remotely qualified individual issuing the product, customer service, follow-up, repair, and recovery of the splints is unbelievably POOR. Yet, that said, and given the lack of expertise by their representatives, the huge monthly rental bill for each splint goes on and on....long after a Dynasplint (viewed as torture devices by many nurses and therapists) have been discarded to the bottom of a patients closet....and forgotten like a bad dream. Splints of this nature should be issued only with Dr's orders and with the collaboration of qualified Occupational Therapists/Assistants and Physical Therapists/Assistants. Inexperienced OT's and PT's should not be deferring issuance of such systems in the absence of their own clinical abilities. The devices require 2 hour checks for skin and joint integrity and comfort, and frequent reassessment as to their effectiveness. Dynasplints are as close to the definition of a "restraint" that I can think of...given that a large number of the patients receiving these devices are frail, cognitively impaired seniors who are unable to remove them at will....with long wearing scehdules imposed by salespeople who never come back...and who don't respond to customer service requests. This is another example of a company that is draining the Medicare system. Customer service is poor.....and the products are alarmingly overpriced and over-utilized. Dislike them immensely. (a therapy manager)
I wouldn't trust anyone at Dynasplint with my patients. They often fit the patients in thier homes and try to squeeze the therapist out of the equation and sell the patient more devices. They also try to squeeze us out by going directly to the doctors and then coming back telling us what to do. This happened once in my clinic and now the Dynasplint rep doesn't ever make it past the front. Do what's right for your patients and keep Dynasplint away from them! This is a fantastic post, I couldn't have said it better myself. You really hit the nail on the head with this. . . "Inexperienced OT's and PT's should not be deferring issuance of such systems in the absence of their own clinical abilities." I truly second this emotion.

No BS brother a surgical company...pays me well...so long Dynasplint losers!!!That sounds like BS...what company?
Maybe because Dynasplint really sucks that much that people had similar experiences. Come on after reading all of the negative things about the company all you came up with is that "there are multiple posts". You seem clueless....oh wait there's a position for that... maybe you can be president of Dynasplint!I started reading this post and things seem very negative about this company, however I did notice after reading through the entire thread that a great percentage of this thread is exactly the same posting. I dont simply mean that people had similar complaints about the company but that posts apear multiple time throughout the thread...
I'm not really sure why?
