Dynasplint, Dynasplint, Dynasplint

She's probably going to send the info to Dynasplint...don't send any resumes to her! She's most likely "freinds" with someone and they've been trying to find out who's writing this blog. TRAITOR!

Be careful of this company and their reps.
They supply a product, come out and fit you and adjust you...then leave.
They do not inform you that the product has to be returned and is a monthly rental.
Which to me is kind of disgusting for a unit used on the body...but..whatever...
Anyway, they told me two different times I didn't have any new product coming then sent me a letter saying to return it or I "may" be charged...
Guess what....I was charged..300.00 plus.
I haven't even used the product since last year..if I had known i would have gladly returned it...
So, be careful out there...cause when you call them, they will not work with you in anyway...they just give you the well you signed the paper...pay up...and with an attitude...
Be careful and be sure to read everything and be sure your rep tells you everything or you could be out big bucks!!
Not a good customer service company.

Can anyone give any information about the neuro division or the manager for the northern region? I have an interview next week and I'm starting to get the feeling that this might be a bad move and I should stay with my current company. Thanks!

Have you ever walked past a dumpster that has recently been emptied and the contents compacted in the bowels of the garbage truck leave a pool of iridescent grayish liquid on the curb? I have. What's more, is that every time I encounter this trash can after birth and circumnavigate around the tiny sea of foulness I am unpleasantly reminded of Dynasplint. From the hotel room I shared with a homosexual for an agonizing week during Comp 1 to the embarrassment I felt pitching the product to Orthopedic Surgeons in the field, Dynasplint has in some way, stolen a small piece of my soul. Working for Dynasplint confirmed that I am indeed a loser; I have in one way or another, lost at life.

There's your answer buddy. I guess you should stay with your current company and pass on Dynasplint

I am going on my third year with Dynasplint. At the completion of my second year I made 98K. DSI has always been good to me. I am a very hard worker and do not need my RSM and DSM telling me what to do. Of course there is corp crap, but that is everywhere. With DSI, you must put in the time and grow your business. This is not a stepping stone company, this is a company where you sow the seeds the first year and then reap the reward the following year. There are 3 of us colleagues on the same team who are Presidents club reps, we all now that it takes work, consistency, and a love for what we do.
If you are looking to make a quick buck, or use this as a launch pad, go somewhere else. You will only be a burden on those of us who care about Dynasplint and have respect for what they offer.

Obviously you're a "corporate want to be"! You're typical Dynasplint. Can't even spell correctly or use proper english! "There are 3 of us colleagues" & "we all now"...nice use of the english language! Stay with Dynasplint! You're just what they need!

WOW!! I guess your drinking the corporate kool-aid big time and in your case they must have just formulated some type of kool-aid in crack form. Get real loser!! Any rep that was halfway decent leaves Dynasplint!

Are you serious about making $98 in your second year? I'm a new rep to the medical industry and I decided to pass on a position with Dynasplint for another company. The other company I chose over Dynasplint I made $75k base plus a car, bonus and commission for a first year of $125. (Notice my 1st year base is almost more than your 2nd year and I have a company car!!) My second year my salary jumped to $120k for a total of $195k. This year my salary jumped to $155k and I'm on track for $280k. You are truly clueless if you think after 2 years of busting it in the medical sales industry making $98k is ok.

I think you are the biggest loser in medical sales!! Your salary and compensation are pathetic! You might as well stay at Dynasplint because you'll never make more anywhere else because you are a loser. Wake up medical reps make well over 100k per year base!!

Dynasplints are often issued by salesfolks and company representatives who are NOT clinically qualified to appropriately identify the appropriate splint. Even when there is a remotely qualified individual issuing the product, customer service, follow-up, repair, and recovery of the splints is unbelievably POOR. Yet, that said, and given the lack of expertise by their representatives, the huge monthly rental bill for each splint goes on and on....long after a Dynasplint (viewed as torture devices by many nurses and therapists) have been discarded to the bottom of a patients closet....and forgotten like a bad dream. Splints of this nature should be issued only with Dr's orders and with the collaboration of qualified Occupational Therapists/Assistants and Physical Therapists/Assistants. Inexperienced OT's and PT's should not be deferring issuance of such systems in the absence of their own clinical abilities. The devices require 2 hour checks for skin and joint integrity and comfort, and frequent reassessment as to their effectiveness. Dynasplints are as close to the definition of a "restraint" that I can think of...given that a large number of the patients receiving these devices are frail, cognitively impaired seniors who are unable to remove them at will....with long wearing scehdules imposed by salespeople who never come back...and who don't respond to customer service requests. This is another example of a company that is draining the Medicare system. Customer service is poor.....and the products are alarmingly overpriced and over-utilized. Dislike them immensely. This is a fantastic post, I couldn't have said it better myself. You really hit the nail on the head with this. . . "Inexperienced OT's and PT's should not be deferring issuance of such systems in the absence of their own clinical abilities." I truly second this emotion.

I wouldn't trust anyone at Dynasplint with my patients. They often fit the patients in thier homes and try to squeeze the therapist out of the equation and sell the patient more devices. They also try to squeeze us out by going directly to the doctors and then coming back telling us what to do. This happened once in my clinic and now the Dynasplint rep doesn't ever make it past the front. Do what's right for your patients and keep Dynasplint away from them!

This company sucks so bad. Everything people are saying in these posts are so true. I gave up a great job for this company because they lied about everything. Goals completely unreasonable. Commission a complete joke. Bonuses? What are those? A friend got fired and they even tried to get out of paying unemployment. He had to appeal and fight with unemployment but finally got it. They degrade you and harass you. The managers suck, most under the age of 30 with very little experience. Run as far as you can, you can make better money just about anywhere if you have the degree they require. Some people do stay, but only the ones that cannot get hired anywhere else and are considered "damaged goods" in the medical industry. Turnover is very high, more than I have ever seen anywhere and they don't care they just replace you. Never have anything new and exciting to offer the clients, and they get tired of the same old outdated products.

That sounds like BS...what company?

WOW!! look up Dynasplint Complaints and Legal look what you find:

We are just now finding out we are running into the same issue. Any surgeons out there reading please be very leery of using this company. Their billing/business practices are suspect at best, and honestly the product was hardly used in the first place and not very useful to begin with.
After reviewing the document that I was asked to sign (while I was under heavy narcotics I might add) I am disgusted. This company is quite simply looking to take advantage of people. The sales person never mentions the cost or the limited insurance benefit.

Dynasplint is an evil company.
I'm struggling now for over 3 years to process my claim for Dynasplint extensions with Anthem. Both of them claiming they are not receiving something from the other party (for YEARS - I do not know how it is possible with US robust communication system...)
Besides deceiving tactics of signing you up for their devices, the company representatives are simply RUDE and not even TRYING to show respect for customers. Looks like the only thing they were taught is how to get money out of customers no matter what.
Please, avoid this company by all means. It is amazing how much nerve it cost me!

I am a physician who prescribes Dynasplint on a regular basis. Most insurance covers the splint. But my reason for prescribing the splint is not whether or not insurance covers it but rather what is in the best interest of my patient's recovery. So if I'm understanding you right...you want to receive a therapeutic medical device and basically not pay for it. When was the last time you went to a hotel and asked to stay the night and not give your credit card before you even walked up to your room. Patients are advised of the cost and may choose to either receive the medical device or not. But don't expect any company to simply hand over a medical device to someone who they may or may not receive any reimbursment for. Of course if a patient truly cannot afford the device and urgently needs it, I have had no problem with Dynapslint providing the splint at no cost to the patient.
By the way, I have a few legal questions about a traffic ticket, do you mind spending a couple of hours with me discussing my case...oh and by the way...I may pay you and then again I may not...but you can just write it off, right?

Give me a break...you're not a physician you're a mouth piece for the company...it couldn't be more transparent. Give me a break! No one is asking for something for free. The complaints center around a predatory sales approach that is dishonest, and takes advantage of patients who are at a vulnerable point.

If you want to defend yourself do so...but don't pose as someone you're not...

Dynasplint is a scam of a company! They manipulate the insurance system to rip off people who need help but take advantage of them instead. I am looking at putting together a class action suit against their business practices and subsequent insurance fraud. They are in collusion with doctors to ultimately get insurance companies to pay for patients use on this "experimental" device and if they don't get approval, which typically happens, they go after the patient to pay the invoice. This happens after the sales rep assures patients that they have gotten approval to use the device when in fact they haven't. They tell you you have been approved and insurance will pay 100% of the cost, tell you this along with the doctor in the room abd get you to sign the papers when you get fitted
that says you have to pay the cost if the insurance doesn't. Well, insurance never does but they tell you they have gotten approval so after you use the Dynasplint for a few months, the billing rep calls and writes you stating your insurance has declined payment so you have to pay it. This is their business model so beware of this company.

And people want to work for a company like this? Very sad that this company can do business like this!

I started reading this post and things seem very negative about this company, however I did notice after reading through the entire thread that a great percentage of this thread is exactly the same posting. I dont simply mean that people had similar complaints about the company but that posts apear multiple time throughout the thread...

I'm not really sure why?

Maybe because Dynasplint really sucks that much that people had similar experiences. Come on after reading all of the negative things about the company all you came up with is that "there are multiple posts". You seem clueless....oh wait there's a position for that... maybe you can be president of Dynasplint!
