Dyax

Yes, Andrew Sternfield works for Dyax. He is SUPPOSE to be our sales rep here in the state of Florida but if you tell him anything other than "yes" then he does not return your calls. Beware of Mr. Sternfield!

lol, sorry Dyax, but there is a new drug already approved in EU for HAE, that woudl likely hit the US soon! so, how does that feel, when you already have gigantic territories, can't find patients, can't find sales, and now there will be COMPETITION????

gosh, am I glad that I turned down this job. As for you schmucks who were tricked into taking this job, so sorry for you that your days are numbered. Are you enjoying your days on the road?

WOW ... I can 100% guarantee that you were rejected when interviewing and have hung on to ill feelings. I actually dropped out early in the process because I was not interested in such huge territories, however I would never wish ill will on those that took the jobs. You have a lot of hate inside you and need to let that go and become a nicer person.

Dyax - Trouble Ahead in Minnesota

Dyax is a great company

Correction, this was a great company. The stench is already beginning to build, and the fresh scent is beginning to wear off. Who is this arrogant Kristin D. person? In checking with some contacts within Gilead, she was a complete mess. Luckily, I only see her rarely. Looks like H.R. better get busy - they will have their hands full.

How many are on "the 90 day" plan
Since launch in the PAH division it's seems to me that there have been at least 7 TS,IS, and RD's who have taken a 90 day leave. What's up with that? Are the other divisions seeing this, or is it just us?

Pipe down, some of us are on extended leaves and nobodies knows. 90 day leaves are for pussies. I'll might have to surface for President's Club.

Who all is on the 90 Day Plan? Let's put together a C.P. short list. Are they all for similar reasons (medical, PIP, sabbatical)? I find it pretty surprising that after only one year post launch, all of these critical CP positions are needing to go on a 90 Day Leave at the same time. It must be just a coincidence, right? Can K.D. claim Worker's Compensation if she came down with Lockjaw describing her expert prowess or perhaps Carpal Tunnel from all her texting of physicians?

Its not a 90 day plan, these people are taking short term disability relief. They are getting Drs. note to be off work. To many to be a coincidence!! Whats up with this division??? Are there many folks out in HIV?[/quote]

Re: Positive feelings about CP
Now, now, lay off me. Once I get through my psych treatment I will be able to "train" again. You are all being so mean to me. I may be the laughing stock in the midwest but I have a bright future talking out of the side of my mouth. My numbers don't tell the real story.

That is hillarious! All I know is that she is making my job a piece of cake in Minnesota. She has pissed off so many of my docs - whether it is by incessant texting or by lame, amature pitches. Thanks, Gilead!!

Sternfield is NUTS!!! He tells me that I'm confused however he is the one that is confused!!! If you do not know what you are selling then DO NOT promise the office and my patients that they will receive free drug when indeed it is not free. A doctor's office is busy and we are paid to treat patients not call hospitals for you to get your drug placed... Isn't that YOUR job? I'm just saying... Beware of crazy Andrew Sternfield.

How is the product doing?

I interviewed last year but didn't get the job. I have since landed somewhere else and I like it. I am just curious to see how the drug launch has gone thus far. Thanks

Not sure who the haters are, or why they would care enough to follow any individual's progress on cafepharma. That strikes me as a little obsessive and weird.

Things are going well at Dyax. We're helping a lot of people. It's a tough disease to live with and I think all new therapies are appreciated.

And everywhere you look in your world you see gray right? Not black or white but just gray. Grow a set and take your head out of the sand and tell it like it is. At least take a position. You should run for office.

Integrity and Patient Safety at Risk? Fiction or ...

Answer: It is nice to know things are going well at Dyax. It is refreshing to see that patients are being put first and assistance is being directed to patients. Most new therapies are appreciated.

Why would anyone care enough to follow an individual's progress on Cafepharma?
A very good point, normally. So if someone did care enough, it must be pretty important don't you think? What does one do with a particular ex coworker with most likely undiagnosed Narcissistic Personality Disorder (NPD), a very serious psychiatric mental disorder who constantly and negatively undermines within weeks of arrival - the morale, direction, integrity and stability of whole business units? Affecting not only the localized sales region, but literally whole divisions within biotech corporations (Sales, Marketing, HR, Legal, Medical)? What does one do with the knowledge that their direct actions are clinically defined psychotic, purposeful, predatory, illegal and terroristic enough that they border on a serious legal lawsuit? And what if their employment history documented this same horrific behavior over and over again, only to be covered up by multiple HR Depts under the term 'medical leave' and personal privacy regulations for mental health/behavior therapy? Should this be allowed to rest, when hundreds of patients and their clinical safety are being put at risk because of their blatant dishonesty for ethics and morality? When literally hundreds of health care professionals lives within our biotech organizations are being destroyed by one particular psychotic predator? How? Careers lost. Client rapport manipulated. Reputations permanently soiled. The 'guaranteeing' of insurance reimbursement, to only find out later that the patient will need to be withdrawn from the drug. Key physicians and nurses purposefully deceived only to direct the blame upon other coworkers. Homes foreclosed. Key physicians no longer trusting medical reps because of their encounter with this hidden predator. Marriages destroyed. Children dramatically impacted. Promises made to clients only to be remain unfulfilled.

Perhaps the person who put forth the initial question might only begin to understand when exposed directly to the ferocity of this unfortunate psychotic disorder of NPD, that continues to be ignored and placated within our biotech organizations. It is naive to encompass the totality of her destruction under the guise of a 'hater'. Now imagine HYPOTHETICALLY if she was continuing to advance within management within an biotech organization such as Dyax, and given unfettered corporate access to your particular community patients and putting them and your reputation at stake? Would that be an personal obsession, or an important ethical concern? In our profession, how important is integrity with your physicians, nurses and patients? Where do you rank your patient's safety? Perhaps this is just fiction...right?

KD from Minnesota: A 'Trail of Tears'...

Yes KD is trouble

OMG, not Kristin again! Just say no. This is such a small business sector that you can't help but hear about the bad ones. She is like a medical/psychiatric solo 'Death March' for any business organization. How is she still in this biotech business sector? I knew of her before Actelion, and they are still shuddering at the corporate offices here. She was a psychotic mess and got the medical boot and 'transitioned' to Myogen. When Gilead acquired Myogen, I heard that she had to interview for her own position, and failed miserably. The reasons the interviewers gave? Egotistical, deceitful, manipulative. Sounds like they had her number from day one. Am surprised they actually kept her on. In my marketing days, several thought leader physicians called her slimey', arrogant or dishonest. The proverbial 'Trail of Tears' we used to call her...

Yes Kristen is herez as is Andrew.. Andrew is doing well with Sales, Kristen never did well. We are having a helluva time finding these damn HAE patients and all the competition is fighting for the same 6,000 patients nationwide. This company is doomed. Pays well 130k but you are driving and flying all over the place looking under rocks for patients that are willing to brown bag to physician's office or local hospital for injection!! No other indications pending and no other drugs in the pipeline. High turn over rate NSD for the East left, so you know there's no hope!! He was a manipulative reject from Pharma and provided no leadership Trisha Mullen was his ass kisser till he left Don is the ass kisser in our region, Monte isn't that bad. Rex seems real cool however he's not in sales management. Be glad you didnt get the job, while I appreciate the paycheck that's all we're getting... bonuses are a joke if you even make goal!!!

The recruiters are saying that bonus is 40,000+ true?

There have NEVER been bonuses of 40k since the company started!!!!! We were paid on an MBO of 8,000 gross per quarter when we started.... Now you have to be at 110% to be able to get a pay out LESS than the 8,000 we used to get!!!! you live off the base salary here and you earn every penny! you have to drive to the smallest remote areas to "find" a patient beg the doc to use a SC injection that he has to inject when the competition offers a SC injection that the patient can inject at home! We are all looking to get out of here.. turn over rate was 30% this year alone and the NSD in the East left!!!! there are only a few of the original hires left.... No other drugs in the pipeline.. no plans to spend anymore money on Kalbitor no other studies being done.. very unsure future.... It's not just sellng you have to cold call to find one of the 4-6,000 patients Nationwide, then once you find the patient you try to convince the doc to use your drug then you have to go the Hospital and beg them to accept brown bag or allow drug to be shipped there even though it isnt on any formularies or convince the patient to drive to the doctors office at the beginning of their attack so they can get an injection!!!!!!! Company has meetings at Corportate where you have to give your business plan presentations because Corportate doesnt believe you're busting your ass out there trying to find a damn patient.
