I totally agree with your comments. They are only hiring 16 people. If this joker is for real, then they have been clearly called out. Regardless of the pay, the territories are entirely too large and the condition is rare - this combination is very risky.

did they use any external recruiters or only via website? the website process appeared goofy, as i had tailored my resume to meet and exceed the specs they were looking for. got a thanks but no thanks email reply. seemed odd i doubt a human being actualy saw the resume.
 






I do not think they used any recruiters. Maybe they had filled for the area you had hired for. I think I am a good judge of character and they seemed like really bright prof people.
I think its getting better out there. It might take time, but if you are one of the pharm reps who works hard a great job will come along.
 






























well, Dyax just got fda approval of its HAE product.....so, what now, what say you, you got a full sales force yet? Or did ya scare everyone away with the low pay and giant territories? lol
 






Actually the package was very attractive. The territories are large, but with success hopefully they will expand. DX88 is a very specific and novel therapy. The CT application could be huge. Best of luck to DYAX and hope they do well.

Unfortunately, this opportunity smelled bad right from the beginning. Many experts agree to avoid going for opportunities where the disease state is rare and it is your only drug in your bag. The territories are huge...who wants to be in a hotel room every night away from home? It isn't worth any amount of money.

lol, sorry Dyax, but there is a new drug already approved in EU for HAE, that woudl likely hit the US soon! so, how does that feel, when you already have gigantic territories, can't find patients, can't find sales, and now there will be COMPETITION????

gosh, am I glad that I turned down this job. As for you schmucks who were tricked into taking this job, so sorry for you that your days are numbered. Are you enjoying your days on the road?
