They also offer to "check" your blood for cholesterol, etc. I submitted blood as well as piss, but was not disclosed if the blood would be used to screen drugs. - I haven't been tested since.
 






Is the urine test still the pre-employment drug screening standard at Lilly? Have they switched to hair tests? Have a f2f next week and want to know what to expect after the f2f ?
 






Dope will take about a month to pass through your system. Blow on the other hand will only take 2 weeks. So keep that in mind while your ripping your lines on the way to the test.

If you want to beat the piss test, go buy a Whizzinator.
To beat the hair test,

1)buy some dialysis tubing from a supplier or go back and visit your HS chemistry teacher and steal some from the lab.
2)Go to drug store and buy highest strength Selsun Blue shampoo
3) Fill dialysis bags with shampoo, and dialyze against at least 10 volumes of distilled water X 24 hours, changing the water at least 3X/24 hours.
4) Doing the above will yield highly concentrated selenium, the active ingredient in Selsun blue.
5) 24 hours pre hair test wash your hair with the highly concentrated shampoo at least 5x to allow selenium to seep into the hair shafts and follicles.
6) the selenium will mask any drugs you may have in the hair or hair root.
7) go confidently into the testing lab and offer up your hair.

What about a current update as of january 2011 to this thread. what is lilly's current drug testing policy? Anyone out there currently been hired and went through the process?
 


















Switch to legal drugs. If you don't have the sense to find them, maybe you should be in a different business. Also, if you have sense to find them, maybe you should be in a different business. --the MAD HATTER

They may ask alternative source of hair - armpit, publc, or eye brow for potential drug usage since eye brow is slowest growing hair and thicker, it has tendency to retain hydrophilic drugs. Of course, one can do eye brow bleaching to get rid of such trace drugs. Of course bleaching can be dangerous to eyes.

Could be eye lashes too. However, cosmetic lengthening agents might produce false negatives, hint hint.
 






nowadays they do analysis by mass spec method - so dye pigments can be separated from other chemicals. bleaching oxidizes the aminergic drugs so all you get is just a hint -- which could be brothel/bar you'd visited. In forensic testing hair is cut into several pices and then tested to determine time when the chemical was present. So, make sure there is atleast a three month clean history. Also be careful for first 15-18 months after joining. Once established be careful not to use any drug three months prior to your birthdate since they wil collect blood for annual CBC which may include forensic detailing. There are molecular tests coming up which can detect genetic profiling which persists for upto 5 years. This means unless you are in same party as ceo or upper mangement, be careful for what you intake -- e.g. anabolics, hormones, or significant dietary modification. Rather than proving you are using any medical use substance, you may start geting deteriorated ePM..and after two drops (6 months) you are goner
