Agreed! There is no way for Sobi to recover from his stupid, arrogant mistake. The only cams I know who aren't interviewing are a few old ones who are ready to retire
Insane decision paying $1.7B, especially with cti about ready to go bankrupt last year. Sobi could have just bought vonjo at a fire sale price. now they are stuck with crushing debt and we are paying for it!

The stupidity of these comments is mind-blowing. 1.7bb for a company with an approved asset is pennies. And no they couldn't have bought Vonjo for a fire sale price because CTI wasn't willing to sell for such. Granted they were low on cash, but they would have just raised more capital to continue commercial plans. Remember, there were three companies bidding on CTI when Sobi bought them and the bids were close, so it would have sold regardless.

Exactly. And there is no "crushing debt", most of it has already bee recouped

Who are you, the last remaining cti cam? Look around idiot! RH just jumped to the only division that will survive in North America
Very important point and we've all seen this before. The VP's know what's really happening and when they start jumping ship it won't be long before it sinks. Jump now while you can!

Agreed, its just a matter of time for the hem division. Has anyone heard anything specific on timelines and size of layoffs?
Synagis division with no oncology experience is coming to save the day! Holy cow, what a Titanic this has become. Doptelet is cruising and nobody cares because we have to bail out leadership for their disasters (there have been several). Even the LTI won't keep folks here after this.

Were hearing it will be the same basic pattern as with synagis, eg shift resources to new focus area (RH is in the first wave) with the new gout drug and gut hematology in stages before the launch.

makes sense and remember that the synagis sales force was treated like garbage with repeated lies and layoffs with pathetic severance $$. expect the same with hematology.

Heard HK and his "leadership" are on the chopping block after a year of falling far short of the sky-high sales goals. We are seeing extreme levels of micromanagement from the new west mgr, which reflects desperation and huge pressure from the CEO. Is this the same in the east?
