"Do Not Rehire" list?













I agree. I was told by an inVentiv recruiter that I am on the list. She got the list from a friend of hers that recruiters for PTS. Obviously, the list is widely recirculated.

Did she move you forward or not? If not I’d sue and get the deposition rolling. That would untangle the whole deal with perjury threats.
 






Like it was mentioned earlier, having a DNH list inside the company is not illegal but when it is hared outside (public) the company is where it becomes libel/defamation behavior.
 






Hire an investigator or reference-checking agency to make inquiries with your previous boss and the prospective employer. Prices for such services range from $40 to $100, depending on the agency and level of service. If you find that you've been blacklisted, you can sue for defamation or discrimination. File a blacklisting complaint with the federal Equal Employment Opportunity Commission if you think discrimination is involved.

It’s possible that they have originated from the same source, but after people leave leave one company and bring the list with them, more names are being added to that specific list that they leave with, yet at another place.
Companies reserve the right to not rehire. I’ll give them that for sure. Circulating a list outside of an organization is blacklisting and is very unprofessional and immature. That tells you how trashy these people are.

Think of these lists as property of the company. Do you get to keep things when you leave? No. So as these lists circulate not only is the company liable so is the recruiter. A 2-fer'. Just like when PDI doesn't report a possible illegal compliance issue to the Government when a Rep complaines to a R/C multiple times and shows that the Client company is possibly committing medicare fraud. PDI tries to cover it up, retaliates and gets rid of the employee. PDI is now Aiding and abetting NVS fraud and part of the law suit.
 






This is all just another BS scare tactic by some powerless line level manager. They have to create scare tactics because the reality is these folks are powerless. They are at best glorified supervisors/expense report police and have no juice in the industry.
 






After reading what I have on social media, I seriously would not want to step on anyone below me. Some of what I've read on social media should be a warning to those who want to throw someone in front of a bus.

Assholes why would they be paying on call metrics vs. true performance. they even changed the salary to bi-weekly in their favor knowing you can’t even get to start to be equal on your earnings until the month of July. Bye, Bye you will be gone before July!!! They throw dollar amounts for fake bonus to get you to stay knowing a majority of the top performers will be gone to other opportunities, before the pay out is even done.

I was recently passed over at SYNEOS and the hiring manager was very honest and stated that my name is on the Amplity do not hire list and that's why SYNEOS passed me up for the position even though I am very qualified. Syneos is actively using the list from Amplity.

Get a lawyer and initiate action against Amplify to have your name removed from this list. Frankly it is very dicey for a company to do any more than verify your dates of employment with a prospective; this may be a nice class action lawsuit- I know that’s probably not your angle but I would be very surprised if a letter from a lawyer would not rectify your situation.
