What's with the realignment, and how will things change? I don't understand the real reason that this is happening.

When sales are decreasing, you obviously get less profit. However, you could also increase profit by cutting expenses.

This can be done by getting rid of redundant positions, or having your staff split among Taro and Sun responsibilities and relocating them to one location. A/R, Rebates, and Customer Service have already done this.

I'm asking about the rest of the departments. Finance and their bullies are still out of control. I'll bet at some point they'll have to cut in order to change the environment there.
 



Why does the Art Department need 2 people? So MS can walk from office to office to socialize? Her assistant used to spend so much time in Legal, so they reward him by hiring him? Come on OG wake up. Will be much cheaper outsourcing to have a red square drawn.

Our company is not doing well. We need to invest and buy more companies to expand our business. The only way to improve our company's performance is to lower expenses. Its basic accounting.. All of Hawthorne is an expense it doesn't produce or sell anything.. If you work in Hawthorne, ask yourself what you do and how you earn money for the company.. Its possible that you have saved the company money, but at the EOD Fiance, Accounting, AR, AP, CS, HR are all on the wrong side of the balance sheet. They need to reduce head count.. Scroll up in the conversation, I am pretty sure that a manager posted that they are indirectly being force to write poor reviews.

If Taro wants to reduce its expenses the right way, not only does it have to file with the SEC and show cause for the reducing jobs, will be liable to pay employees severance costing the company more money and more bad publicity. This is the companies way of eliminating positions, avoiding expenses, and bad publicity.

  • Everyone keeps asking about job cuts. They are cutting them and forcing people out with bad reviews. How don't you see that?? MB need to save some money and try to justify his position to UB and the board. MB is too busy walking around and looking at who is surfing the internet or on their phone rather than figuring that his managers are always in meeting and don't have the time to do their own job..
As I said in an earlier post, MGT SUXs.. They need to do their job. Tell MB or UB that they aren't doing their own job..The only one with a backbone might be SV.. They need to fire MB and the rest of his Henchmen.. You need a manager who will disagree and tell you what's wrong, not managers who kisses axx just to cover their own mistakes. Start with the one with the biggest turnover.. KS/MS/FF have had the highest turn over in the past year.. That makes them YES MEN..

Then FF was walking around LOL and joking like everything was fine.. The rest of the cuts are coming..
 



Look around. If a manager can't hold their employees, do you really want to say its the employees fault? How many people have they chased out.

  • What happen to DM? Why was he chased out? He was literally the GOTO guy in finance. Whenever you had a finance related issue, Who did you go to?
  • Has anyone ever figured out what JG does? How do you promote JG and leave DM behind?
At the end of the day, MB and management are the real issue.. They are too concerned with image rather than who is getting work done. $hit rolls down hill. Wait until the re-alignment. Watch this new trick.. In the meantime THE HENCHMEN make it impossible for us to work.. MGT has no clue how to steer a sinking ship, while trying to downsize.. Yes CUTS are coming.. I am updated and looking..


The worst thing ever was the nepotistic type hiring of FF buddies JG and RS. . All fun and games with that department. So cute with all the pranks. Nice to see them being exposed. Thank God I left the hell hole. So hard to see them getting paid the big $$$ but allowed to do shenanigans all day with their childish pranks, goofs and high school fun. Nice to see the company has caught up with these pranksters. The All-Boys Fraternity clique has been exposed. DM and DB did their work, but could not deal with the circus that FF created.

I don't know why he stayed on that team. He must have seen it coming. I guess that is how he was rewarded for doing to his job. When ever I walked past his desk he was always working.. FF on the other hand is MB golden boy and can walk on water.

Wednesday was her last day. Very nice lady with two young daughters. She wanted a better job with less overtime so she could spend more time with them. She did not mention anything else. Never say anything bad about the company until you have left and signed all the paperwork for your new job. Someone may give you a bad reference.

Nobody wants to lose their job, but I'm sure that JF will find employment soon. He's a very good employee. Working with a group of high schoolers could not have been easy. He's better off. At some point upper management will have to pay attention and examine FF antics. The company could save so much money if they took a good look at what's going on, or "not going on" in Rebates.

Jabber is what they use to plot pranks, plan outings, and trash the working folks. It's an all day fiasco for those fools and then you see them scramble toward moth end. That Rebates is the company's salary waste.

Crossing the line into making misrepresentations or outright lies could make a bad reference illegal.

The question is, how does EVERYONE including the 3rd floor see what goes on in Rebates, except upper management? Or do they see but choose to ignore?
