DEZ

Anytime someone uses sports, which do not reflect the zeitgeist or societal norms, in an attempt to provide a salient fact, that person is a dumbass. You’re a pretentious cretin, masquerading as an intellectual. Dumbass.

can you please use words other imbeciles on this team will know without having to do a team internet search? These teams are busy pretending to work. the entire team appreciates team members, and your cooperation with this request is helpful to the team members on the various teams. thank, teammate.

Team mates / teammembers,

I forgot, the team is looking for corporate cheerleaders to be the spear of our new motto, "Go, team, Go team members and teammates!" Would any of the teammates be interested in being one of our cheerleaders? If yes, all the teammate has to do is respond with "confirm" and you will be considered for our corporate teammate cheerleader team. Until then, go, team, go team, go.

Thanks, again,
Teammate

Go team, go, team, go team members

You're certainly committed to the bit.

It's amazing how these people don't understand that bitching about DEI is like putting a billboard saying "I'M RACIST" on their forehead... I don't really like Dez, but to assume he was a DEI hire is laughable. It's like these people who whine about DEI think that anyone who isn't white is automatically a DEI hire. The dude has like decades of exec experience at MICROSOFT and GSK. These morons choose to leave that part out.... because "He'S bLaCk!!!." I heard some of the most racist shit at the NSM this month, so I'm not surprised that people like this are among us.
Dez doesn't have decades of exec experience. He was a rep at GSK. He is a good speaker in front of large audiences but that's where the complements end. I just don't trust him.

What’s keeping the black man or woman from being a GM or Owner? Please don’t say racism because that’s not it. There’s many black coaches and there will be more black owners once teams are available for sale and there’s a good candidate willing to risk the money.

Any time someone calls another person a dumbass you automatically take from your credibility. I’m not here to name call or to enter into a thoughtless discussion. Please, tell me how DEI benefits our society?
I don't think you understand what DEI really means much like I've seen people not understand what Critical Race Theory means. A simple explanation of DEI was given by Rep. Hakeem Jeffries:

"Diversity, equity and inclusion are American values.

Perhaps I can explain.

The model of the United States is "E Pluribus Unum."

Out of many, one.

That's diversity.

The 14th Amendment to the US Constitution, one of the most important amendments in our country, provides equal protection under the law.

That's equity.

In this country, we pledge allegiance to the flag of the United States of America. A flag that we just presented to the new President and Vice President.

And in that pledge, we promise one nation, under God, indivisible, with liberty and justice for all.

A-L-L

That's inclusion.

It's not that complicated. Diversity, equity and inclusion are American values.

It's about economic opportunity.

It's about merit for everyone.

Based on what you know, not who you know."

I don’t care about his race, creed, age, or sex is. Here are some legitimate reasons I distrust him:
His foolish idea that call metrics positively affect sales.
His counterproductive idea field rides positively affect sales.
The fact that he is so out of touch with what we do every day, he thinks having two more devices to keep charged positively affects sales.

I could think of more, but these are currently the most wasteful of our time and resources.

No reasonable person disputes that Dez is a metric-obsessed buffoon, but that only makes him as bad as the rest of the clown-college that sank the C.V. division.
The person who started this thread targeted Dez and chose to omit the names of the other half-dozen idiots who actually performed worse than Dez did.
We all know why they did it. They know why they did it.
They gave embarrassments like Duane, Neil, Jeff, Sandeep and the entire marketing team a free pass, but they went after Dez.
It's transparent, it's pathetic, and it's shameful.
If you are going to call-out names of people who torched the place, call out all of them.

That all sounds great and you would be hard pressed to find people who do mot really want or believe this.

But that is not what is preached in DEI circles and pushed through DEI consulting and programming. The goods aren't what's advertised. In reality, it points fingers, favors some over others, lends itself to victim virtue signaling. It labels and divides the workforce. The oppressed and the oppressors. POC and privileged whites. Rainbow and Cis. It prioritizes equity over merit. In the end, it alienates and drives wedges, it doesn't bring people together, the essence of collaboration and a healthy work environment. It undermines it.

A 2020 report from Catalyst, a non-profit focused on advancing women in leadership, suggested that White women's close societal and often familial relationships with White men—who predominantly hold high-level executive positions—can result in better access to professional opportunities. This proximity to power, facilitated by shared cultural and social capital, has undoubtedly played a role in shaping the present landscape of DEI roles.
They are the largest recipients of affirmative action, getting the largest share of economic, cultural, and leadership gains in the last 50 years.
According to a comprehensive study conducted by McKinsey & Company in 2022, an overwhelming 63% of diversity and inclusion leadership roles were occupied by White women.

This couldn’t be more true here at Novartis! I used to scratch my head and wonder how someone can go from a sales rep with no prior leadership experience or training to an executive director in 8 years, while others can not even get a mid level manager role. Then I learned about their “relationships” with certain male leaders. It all makes sense now

How and why women count toward DEI metrics, I have no idea. Many pharma companies are already majority women, accept maybe in the labs.

Word. Best post.
