Depomed

I did my f2f and got the job in the NE. If you don't come prepared to detail Gralise, why are you here? Do some homework, come prepared and ask for the job. I had to laugh when I spoke to another candidate for my position; she had her brag book, knew the name of the product and the indication, and absolutely knew nothing beyond that. It's great to have a brag book, but you're selling a NEW product, remember? What a bimbo!

And why do you care if you got the offer? What a jerk!

Do you have time to respond/ think about the offer of do you have to answer immediately? I want some details in writing first or would like to consider for a day before answering if possible.

To the post that got the offer and detailed the new product,
share the highlights you used , would appreciate any tips on verbalization for role play! Great job on landing the position!

Thanks for the congratulations, but why should you have an unfair advantage over the other candidates that don't come on CP? You have a computer...so USE IT!!! Do some fucking research, use your brain and have a plan!! If you know how to sell, than what worked for me should mean nothing to you!!

Show some initiative! Don't just rely on a form-fitting suit to give the interviewer a boner; show them you deserve the job!

I would like to congratulate & commend all those individual who did receive offers. however, I am extremely disappointed that those candidates that sold for inventiv previously, most specifically those who were top performers selling Amrix for Cephalon didnot get a better shot since their performance for the company was a known fact when dealing with pain drs &some neuros . Gralise is a similar sell to Amrix from the physician to the pharmacy. I know some excellent top performers that didn't get the opportunity to even move forward to f2f because they were considered not to have enough of the relationships w the potential key opinion leaders. very disappointing!

I can understand the disappointment, but unless you know exactly who your competition is(and listened to how they presented themselves), your statement is meaningless. Depomed owes nothing to Cephalon, and I was told that they were looking to leverage that experience- but if you lay an egg on the phone interview, don't be surprised at the result.

I spoke to some finalists who didn't have a clue who the KOL neuros are (let alone who any of the neuros/pain docs are). The only experience they had was calling on PC promoting Lyrica (and not a lot of experience at that).

All positions are filled in the eastern side of the US as of yesterday.

Right... Yesterday meaning Wednesday, 8/24? There were still interviews being conducted in Atlanta on Wednesday and Thursday with DM's and John Hardiman, the East Regional Sales Director, who said they still had a few spots to fill...

Has anyone gotten a WRITTEN offer yet or is is still just a verbal "You got the job, details will follow soon..."

So I'm curious. Is 70,000 the Max that they will pay a rep? What about someone with many years of pain experience and success. Honestly...would they go over 80,000? Need realistic answers.

If you have the history to support bigger$$, then yes, they will pay. I think you're too late; I heard a DM say last week they only had 20 or so spots left in the country.

I think they are still interviewing in the midwest. Had a phone screen 2 weeks ago and was told I would go on to the ftf in Dallas or CA, but they keep putting it off. The recruiter has been good about keeping me in the loop, says the DM is still doing phone screens and that I have not been eliminated. Was told salary is 70k...anyone in the midwest been hired?
