The responses arguing FOR the DEI agenda look as though they were written by an angry middle schooler. I guess that’s par for the course since all of you social justice warrior victims can’t get a job based on merit. These are the people being hired today, people who can’t put together a coherent argument without resembling a petulant child. Hiring brown people, women and alphabets does absolutely nothing to improve any business or organization in any industry across America.

If we hired on merit, the DEI hires destroying expensive prototype equipment, doing stupid stuff and causing cancelled surgeries wouldn't be something I see.

I see this kind of stuff mostly from DEI hires. From them getting breaks during the hiring process a white male would not.

You can't say anything about it either since their manager only wants to receive good news.

how’d that white boy privilege work during layoffs? i had to choose people for RIF and painfully submitted people I didn’t want to. legal and HR rejected because they were “protected class.”

i don’t want to impact anyone, but cuts had to happen. shockingly no issue with any white males I submitted. is that an example of the privilege you speak of? how the system and man is rigged against everyone else to benefit white males?

This is 100% true. I worked in HR at MDT and this is exactly how it works. Anyone that is a POC (including Indian, South East Asian, as well as African American), in PRIDE/is known LGBTIQ, and is a woman, gets an asterisk next to their name, or gets their name in a different color. Then the "color people" get taken to the ERG groups to talk about the selections with them. They try and create fake positions for the "color people" as much as they can, pander to the ERG leaders and/or try to get their blessing for the decision. There is no white privilege. It's 100% disadvantage. If you didn't get picked, consider yourself very lucky.
 








DEI is dying. Goodbye racist divisive policy. Texas and Florida eliminated. Colleges bringing back SAT. Fairness and meritocracy making a comeback.

Only people that have privilege have money, power or both.

The entire DEI virus was started by a lie. It became quite a destructive pandemic of hysteria. We are finally developing some immunity and fighting back.

Everyone wants to be inclusive. The DEI pushers want to do so in a very discriminatory, unfair and anti-American manner. No white male engineer, tech or manager did anything to deserve security and tier status and I reject the idea of priveledge based on race or gender. Most white men are not doing as well as the anti-patriarchy type claim. It's a few at the top that they use to make it think we are so privileged.

Can't edit post by needs a corrction. It was meant to say essentially those discriminated against most didn't do one thing to be treated that way. Second tier status.

DEI is Marxism in disguise. We can be fair without discriminating against anyone. That fairness should be based on merit. Critical race theory literally teaches you can't be racist against white people. That is so ridiculous it can't be made up.
