How about we treat everyone as an individual and judge them as individuals?

Those who obsess over racism and sexism are in a cult. They try to pretend each group will have an equal outcome absent of any discrimination. That is a lie. Groups are different groups because as groups, they have differences. Admitting groups have differences isn't bigotry. Just blindly blaming white men for all the world's problems is bigotry.

DEI fundamentally states that the inequality of outcomes is based on a society/system that has held back certain groups…there are no laws on books in last 50 years that support this. There were laws before and they were wrong. Inequality of outcomes today are based on effort, ability and qualities…except for the group most heavily targeted for inequality and exclusion…white males.

we want to hire females and people of color in engineering roles 40% by 2020 (still have my slides)…great, are we going to do the hard work to help develop the pipeline into high school/college for STEM education? No, we are just going to hope the volume from engineering school magically increases without any effort and we’ll hire more than our fair share? Brilliant plan!

I have never heard one single coherent argument for why DEI is the right thing to do. Openly discriminate against people who did nothing wrong. Its sick. We need equality of opportunity not equality of outcome.

I witnessed a hiring manager who just called female candidates all day long. One after the other after the other. It looked very discriminatory given the profession and candidate pool demographics.

The business groups often decide the gender or race of the candidate they want to hire in advance. They are told no more white men with some open requisitions.

Many professions will never have demographics that reflect society.

Equality (not equity), Merit and Inclusion. Not Discrimination Extrsmism and Insanity.
