Got a 53k bump. New base is higher than my old total comp. AZ can suck it with that whole “career level” BS. Best thing that ever happened to my family.
Otsuka. I’m called a customer engagement specialist. 5 years of pharma exp, 130 base 50 bonus potential (hopefully this isn’t like AZs but we’ll see). Not sure if Otsuka would have higher bands for the more tenured people. After years of working my way up from level 1 in PCx I am so happy to reset my salary. And no pods!
Slim opportunities in the pharma space. Major companies are downsizing sales forces and small/medium size biotechs have at least a dozen qualified applicants per sales position. Going back to school and get a nurse practitioner degree. It was easy money while it lasted. Time to get a big boy job.
I just received and accepted an offer. Over $20k increase in base salary, smaller territory. Found the right job.
Two months flew by, initially stressful, then diligent about applying and interview prep, enjoyed two weeks of a holiday break and now I’ll be starting new job Jan 27. And i get to bag 5 months of severance.
Winning!! Great for you!...It's highly competitive. Ive sent out well over 100 resumes...a few calls...two initial interviews with some potential for follow up but mostly a lot of ghosting going on out here!

The way she positioned the farxiga generic so positively which ended up being a shitshow and leading Jardiance to be market leader again. A waste of a year of trying to sell farxiga. Let’s hope the pipeline is as good as she thinks and hopefully the launch strategy wont suck

We have layoffs in Ireland also. No more hybrid reps. Creating KAM's instead. Primary care roles outsourced to contractors going forward. Just wondering what your severance packages look like in the US an UK???Thanks in advance
Coming for all. If sales teams can't see that, delusion has set in. Losing MCO plans, using a silly reason to remove 10% of sales to "protect" us from off label usage (never occurred before, why now?). People, that is a blanket 10% across the board. And let's not forget the spin done with the revamped bonus structure.
Leadership is showing what they really think of salespeople & it ain't pretty. Get out on your own and if you're able to do that, be honest in the exit interview. Brutally honest.
Has anyone heard from Wheels to arrange car pick up? Are you still driving company car after lay off?
