Culture

If you like being treated like a number and don't want to be part of a team, this is the place for you. Don't let them fool you with lies to join. A very untalented, narcissistic management team. Do your research. The reputation of the management is real. Clients in the field and previous companies will tell you how they are truly viewed. Not good. Follow your instinct. Surprisingly, Quest and LabCorp treat their people much better. If you were not happy there, you will definitely not be happy here.

lmao at the pussies in thread who can't sell. I'm glad BT dumped your ass. You were a joke and an embarrassment to PathGroup.

You couldn't sell snowcones in hell, beeyotch

You sound like a very classy person. I think I work with you. If you are who I think you are.........please stop and grow up. You sound as classy as mgmt. Perhaps you need counseling or anger mgmt class. You have never been respected at PG by your peers. Please look in the mirror with mgmt and grow up.

Medical benefits are pretty bad here. They provide a decent base, but you are forced to put your own money in for lunches. No company card. Your performance is measured on lunches, and they are not easy to get in some areas. You end up spending thousands of your money, and expense reimbursement is not a great process. I feel like I am more worried about lunches than actually selling, which demonstrates a poor management sales strategy. 401k is good, but takes up to 1.5 years to get it. You get paid decent commission if you actually can keep your client that is passed on to a poor customer service dept. They are good at building interfaces, but their own computer ordering system is weak. Most pros are cancelled out by the cons.

Medical benefits are pretty much on par with the industry and business overall. I've spoken to friends in several fields and benefits are comparable. Every company trending toward high deductible plans due to ACA.

No company card but expenses are paid in full. I've never had one denied. Reimbursement received by direct deposit in 7-10 days.

Performance measure by revenue on new business. Nothing more. Nothing less. Pretty straight-forward.

Commissions are among the best in the lab industry (if you can close business). Probably the only lab that contributes to employees 401k whether they do or not.

Excellent phlebotomy and lab support.

Overall, a fantastic company to work for. Great people to work with.

This company is a joke. Mgmt lies all the time. Ask any current or former employees. It's a matter of time before Quest or LCA gobble them up. You only get promoted if you suck and give gifts/presents to mgt. Maybe like CornHole or a dog or a fancy cup or a signed football. Should I continue. No one likes mgmt. and many folks are looking to leave for the right opportunity. Pap Smears are dying.......Get with it mgmt! OBGYN is not the future growth model but they think it is...........
this company reminds me of some college football teams. Crooked, sleezy and unethical..........

In my opinion, this place has been an odd place to work. Very weird culture compared to having worked other places. Anyone that thinks the behavior of management here is normal has clearly not worked at a professional company.

10 States max.
The company thinks they are in 26 States. Very misleading. TN is their bread and butter, followed by Alabama.
Mgmt is a joke and lies all the time during the interview process.

That was clearly a response by a sales manager. Truthfully, they have the same package as most second tier labs. The benefits are average. Lab support is lousy. Phlebotomy is average. The car package is great. No company card is ridiculous with the volume of spending required. Performance is measured by lunches, which are becoming obsolete in the industry. The 401k is good, but takes forever to enroll. Commissions are average, if they can actually retain your accounts. IT is above average. Average testing menu. Terrible company culture and socially awkward, arrogant managment. Not much innovation. Acquired by equity firm, which typically leads to a company sale in a few years to LabCorp or Quest.

Mgmt is a joke at pathgroup. Get me out of this place. The sales managers in Indiana and Alabama are a joke and sales reps don't trust them a bit. They are snakes who only think of themselves. Please pray for them.

You're on a message board anonymously posting *ish about people and then you "request prayer" for them?

Hmmmm... Seems legit to me.

You wearing your WWJD bracelet right now too?
