Crazy stuff going on here

People are being put on "skills enhancement " plans left and right, we are being excessively pushed to sell Hetlioz, which is supposed to be an orphan drug . So much shadiness here. No communication for our Hetlioz intakes, yet we aren't allowed to call Hetlioz solutions. "Fill out a spreadsheet for Hetlioz updates", which do not get answered. I am embarrassed to walk into offices representing Vanda. This company is ruining our good reputations as respected sales reps. Great reps are being put on all kinds of warnings/plans for both Hetlioz and Fanapt. Reps aren't being paid for some of their legit intakes. There is ZERO accountability from the home office execs, zero managed care support, and they blame everything on the reps. This company is horrible.

How about disgusting, vile, cheap, unethical, sneaky? The dictator is running his company into the ground. He doesn't care about patients or his employees (except his kids who all work for him). I used to care about my job, now I can't wait to quit once I get another one. I bet 50-75% of the reps here are interviewing. They are crazy if they aren't .

Shut up Tom. What a weak leader you are, trolling cafepharma instead of helping to fix this mess. Two reps on my team are now on “skills enhancement” and one that was on the plan just quit. Why? Because they are not pushing an orphan drug for off-label use that’s why. You ask any of these writers what this for, 99 out of a 100 are going to say insomnia. Why? Because we are being coached by our managers to sell it as a sleep aid - yeah, that’s you MD! Tic toc.

Not just coached but demanded. Don't ever ask if the patient has periods of normal sleep because then you are talking circadian rhythm not insomnia and Mihales and GP and Tom would never get the number of intakes they want since Non 24 is a rare disease but insomnia is not.

Skills letters all but prove to the FDA that Vanda has expectations of reps that are not in line with promotion of an orphan drug for a rare disesse. I wonder how many of the skills letters have already been sent to the feds?

MD is following the lead of his RSD as she thinks anyone that isn't sleeping should be a Hetlioz patient. The indication really is not that important anymore.

TRUE!!!!! It would be nice to just once, have a web ex with good news and empowerment. Instead, Tom will have exactly no answers and it will be a huge waste of time.
 






What webex it is cancelled and will continue to be until Tom gets M to sign off on IC plan so let the rescheduling begin. We will be lucky to get it in 2-3 weeks when the quarter is almost over again like we did first quarter.
 






Tom doesn't even get invited to the IC planning party. MP and GP will decide the plan and then Tom presents it. Tom makes no decisions, he is just an overpaid messenger boy. That is why Tom never can even answer the simplest questions. His bosses keep him out of the loop. His job is messenger and to bully and intimidate, but definitely not to lead.
 






I can't wait until our goals come out now that we are already 5 weeks into the qtr. What a joke of a company . They just can't get their act together about anything ( except for screwing people out of money and putting people on plans). Vanda will be out of business soon! The execs are completely clueless about how to run a pharma company. I am sick of the "growing pains"/"we are learning as we go along " excuses that we always hear. I care about the patients and my offices .I feel like this company is ruining a lot of our hard-earned reputations with constant excuses, and lack of any programs, managed care support, proper marketing, and lack of leadership. They expect 1000% commitment from the sales reps, while stabbing us all in the back. There are many seasoned , smart reps here, and we are being treated like dirt. We are on a sinking ship.

Is the web ex going to happen this week? I hope so, It has been awhile since I've heard Tom say" I'll find out and get back to you" . That line is always so empowering especially when he has yet to follow up on a single answer from past web exes.

That was a complete waste of time. I napped while Russell and Jeff were talking and did a shot every time Tom said "We are working through that". I am rested and drunk now.
