OSHA makes that decision not the Prez. His "decision" is basically a suggestion. Employers and lawmakers are expected to challenge the suggestion for many reasons. There are exemptions. Educate yourself and know your rights. For those who do choose the vaccine, NY state requires employers to provide PTO time to get vaccinated. You don't have to rush out and run back to work like the HR Cop expects you to do.

What is the company’s stance on COVID? Seems as if they want everyone back in the office ASAP. Very sad state of affairs that some colleagues have all ready been stricken and HAVE been in the building sick. Seems as if HR or Satan have their head in the sand. When a colleague dies and there are rumors abound that a few were close to death, what will give? I am proposing HR close the building until March 15th immediately. This is very serious, also very ignorant why HR has not told anyone of these positive cases. They will probably blame the nice lady on the first floor for allowing those who are positive to enter the building. I find it quite odd the nurse was let go. Probably busted the budget. All this cost cutting is harmful to our health. HR needs to do something fast as we enter the winter of discontent. Shoot I know they want us to socialize at the water cooler, but much easier and safer on Jabber.
 



They have had their head in the sand for 21 months. Not one mention of vaccinations. Only the flu shot. I know many are apparently going to start work at home 5 days once the new year starts. Unfortunately too many Christmas/ New Years gatherings and a building only 50-60% vaccinated. Too dangerous. Shocked they would want to part with life insurance. I am sure the wham bam thank you Ma’me lawyers probably drafted a COVID-19 loophole.

unfortunately it seems we are getting lied to. Are you shocked that people are getting sick in such close quarters with horrendously cheap ventilation. I pray for those in cubicles.

I literally had to wipe off dust from my desk and monitor every week in that place.
They definitely use cheap Home Depot air filters instead of HEPA filters.
Keep that in mind if they force you back to work.
I'm glad I left and my current company is not forcing us to return to the office.
 



I cannot believe any CEO in America would want to have blood on their hands for someone dying of Covid while getting infected in an office after spending the past 20 months accomplishing all their work responsibilities.

Or would they?

Bad Public Relations as the Great American Resignation continues.

I'm surprised. No one said a thing! This is not a joke. It's not just ourselves we worry about. We're concerned for our families!
