Pharmaceutical companies will never direct their sales reps to stay at home because we're SALES and they're thinking about the bottom line. But it's going to happen naturally... One network in my state sent a communication today to cancel all lunches with reps and rep/vendor visits are not allowed until further notice. I'm sure others will follow suit very soon!

I wasn’t expecting a sales shut down but I really wasn’t expecting a coronavirus sales push. Dwayne sounded excited about it. We don’t care if you get sick or get other people sick- Just hit your
numbers.
 


















I’m not comfortable! Cases are popping up left and right in my territory - offices are shutting down — and people look at me like I’m crazy when I walk into an office!! Tone deaf, much??

I’m not comfortable either. Too bad my manager will call me a pussy and my year end review will be much different if I speak up.

let’s play hypothetical....let’s just say things went differently on that call and they “overprepared”....remember that line at the regionals...? Ok so they gave us a week or so to stay out of the field and things resolved during that time...which we know won’t happen...look at the credit they would have gained by making a decision for the field force...we talk about gaining credibility for doing the right thing for the patient...this is how they do us right. Quite ugly
 












Dwayne’s opening the call with get 90 day scripts was so pathetic. We already received the email regarding. Was embarrassing he talked about it at all let alone opened the call with it. And the plan to tell your manager if your uncomfortable going into the field so they can get another rep to do your lunches. Oh yes please.... have my coworker sit at home while I’m out there doing all the appts but our commission checks will be the same. Or theirs potentially better because we aren’t perfectly aligned and it just works out that way. No thank you.

Makes no sense at this point and actually hurts morale and creates anxiety. Beside even if you out in the field MDs are not even remotely listening to you but focusing in on patients and calming fears of #19 not some drug rep hoping to get a message in. In short you are not helping the office but a distraction and more harmful being there.

These companies need to help out by stopping all field calls until April 15 the same time frame POTUS said in his address last night.
