I haven't had access to any of my hospitals since day one. Almost 60% of my targets aren't accessible. Hospital bans on reps is no excuse!! You should be creative and find a way to see them. At least that's the nonsense I hear each time my RD is in my car.
 






I emailed all of my accounts and told them I wasn’t going to put them at risk by coming in until May.

they were so impressed by my concern for them and their patients that they told me they are going to use Trokendi on all their migraine patients for that period of time so I don’t get in trouble.

you just have to think outside the box people!

This. Is. Not. Leadership.

Hadn’t seen this level of BS in a while. Such a shame too, because the underlying message isn’t terrible. It is a good idea to reach out to offices proactively to see how they are handling the situation and let them know you want to do your part. Let’s please not go back to those so transparently fake successes that make you feel like management doesn’t really understand what it’s like to actually talk to physicians.

I’m not risking my life for these products. Also, I don’t wanna have any ride a Long with my manager. Most other Pharma companies are doing the reasonable thing and keeping their reps out of offices. RDs are so out of touch with reality or, they are drunk on koolaid. Also, many, many of my offices are not allowing reps in.

what is with you and manager ride alongs? Seriously, you may want to look at a different career. I admit they don’t help with much, but it’s part of the gig here and everywhere else.

I do not oppose ride days as long as managers are helpful and actually realistic. But these managers are useless.
