What is with the constant negativity? Hope this helps guy might be an odd person but at least he isn't playing a victim mentality. Get out of here with the world is failing and it's everyone else's fault mentality. Bring some solutions or leave. Why are you are still here if it's not fun, you hate leadership, and you do not see anything getting better? Is it because you think no one else would hire you?
Well put. And I appreciate the
positive feedback.
I am delighted to be here, and I'm particularly delighted to be here at this moment in time.
We come to cafepharma for knowledge and wisdom, in an industry known for progress, representing a company that
was previously known for strength, and we stand in need of all three, for we meet in an hour of change and challenge, in a time of hope and fear, in an age of both knowledge and ignorance. However, sometimes the greater our knowledge increases, the greater our ignorance unfolds.
No man can fully grasp how far and how fast we have come, but condense, if you will the years of the history of clinical laboratory medicine, in a time span of barely more than a half-century. And yet, only this year did we, Bioreference Laboratories, develop Aerobic Vaginitis (AV) Testing. This was a breathtaking achievement.
So it’s not surprising that some would have us stay where we are, or even to retire on our past accomplishments. But we are Bioreference Laboratories and the clinical laboratory industry was not built by those who waited and rested and wished to look behind them. This company was created and the market was conquered by those who moved forward--and so will we, in spite of our current difficulties.
We set sail on this new sea because there is new knowledge to be gained, and battles to be won, and they must be won and used in the name of progress.
There is no strife, no prejudice, no conflict as yet that we have not overcome. The market’s hazards are hostile to us all. Yet, our conquest to succeed deserves the best of us all. But why, some say? Why choose this goal when the odds are stacked against us? And they may well ask why climb the highest mountain? Why fly to the moon?
We chose to go to the moon, not because it was easy, but because it was hard, because that goal served to organize and measure the best of our energies and skills, because that challenge was one that we were willing to accept, not one that we were willing to postpone.
We have had our failures, but so have others, even if they do not admit them. And they may be less public.
To be sure, we are behind, and we may be behind for some time. But we do not intend to stay behind, we shall make up and move ahead.
Hope this helps.
