Circassia

I work for Circassia, and to all the negative know-it-alls on this thread, you really don't know it all. Circassia is a small company, and yes, we're still figuring some things out, but most everything is done with the best intentions. To answer a few concerns:

1. Yes, most of us did not make much in commission last year. But, they redid the the commission plan for 2017 and it is more than fair and very lucrative. They learn from their mistakes.

2. Cat Spire is over. Yes, the company was really banking on that last year, but we've moved on, and you need to, as well.

3. The COPD product is not a contract with AZ, it is ours to sell. Yes, some of us are not excited about being back in the pharma game from selling devices, but I for one, will try to make it work. If you're looking for something other than pharma sales, this may not be the job for you. We are a device/drug company now.

4. Management is great. I've never had a problem with a manager at this company. There was one particular manager who was a micromanager, but she is no longer with the company.

5. Car allowance is not an issue, unless you have a very large geography. You should take that into consideration.

6. If you have a good attitude, welcome. If not, feel free to look elsewhere. Stop judging people.

Most reps would be scared away from this because it's not big pharma suckling little rep piggies at the teat. If you've ever had a real sales job all of this is nothing new. Personally I prefer using my own credit card so I can get the points. Using your own car means great tax deductions and zero gps concerns...again a big pharma thing that seems to concern some reps.

It's a small sales force by comparison to most companies...considering the company has only been in the US for less than a year.

If you don't like being able to rely on yourself, and require a company to coddle you over everything...then you would be best served to look elsewhere.

Thank you for bringing some reality to this thread. Soooo, many immature comments in the earlier part of this thread. I prefer using y personal card as well. The points I racked up previously were enough to pay for several home renovation projects. Tax deductions on the vehicle is a great thing as well. I'd rather have the money in my pocket rather than with accounting.

I'd rather have your mom in my pocket then accounting...just saying

Are you 16? Because your "mom" comment made you sound like an imp. Or maybe you're just one more in a long line of underperformers in your family who sit at a bar drinking bad beer and complaining about how everyone else is lucky in life and the world craps on you. Based on your comment, you probably shoot finger guns and make clicking sounds out the side of your mouth and then go home alone so you can watch re-runs of Barney back when your life apexed. Or maybe your last name is O'Doyle and you typed your comment on your Boost Mobile phone as your wood paneled yellow station wagon went over the cliff.

Good Company, but not what most people signed up for. We were device, now were mostly pharma with a dogg product and high goals. Company will make good on promises though, hopefully, and lower goals so at least the top performers get something!

i'm out! I didn't build my career to be a Primary Care rep and be micromanaged by people who have never sold a device in their life, let alone in the respiratory space. It's embarrassing !
