OP here, I agree if a person is not happy with the situation they should move on. One man's trash is another's treasure. My main reason for starting this thread was not to stir up drama, but to get a feel of what is going on elsewhere. We are being micromanaged now, down to total office calls with the percentage of samples. We have people who are on PIP: not slackers, but people who are working and have good numbers! Also, the four weeks that we are to take off during the year, which equates to one week per quarter, in my region, we are expected to make up ALL those calls without being paid for it. I don't think that's fair. I signed up for 24 hours a week, with OCCASIONAL extra work.
In the beginning, I made the most of my 24 hours; to make them impactful with the doctors, because 24 hours is all I got. But as the subtle changes occurred, I sometimes feel, I am working to meet a bunch of quotas and not selling. Part-time was to remove a lot of BS that Full-time has become. Well, now that BS has arrived in this contract and we don't have the time for it. With that being said, I agree with the above poster, that if I don't like something, get out, which I am going to do as soon as I find something that suits me. However I don't agree with the statement " be happy you have a job". That's what these companies want you to think so that you stay here and be miserable(if you are) and you can't do any better. I know that there are better positions out there and I am not going to fall into that mental trap that this is all I can do. I wish you all well.
