Cardionet Vs LifeWatch

I thought the highest paid was NJ. The second was TX. The majority are NE.
I came off guarantee a few months ago and I am not making anything near what I was quoted. I keep hearing about all these changes that are in the works for reps not making money. You need to be truthful to new hires, 15-20k bonus sounds much closer than what I was quoted. I am one of the top in my region, but not enough to make any money. I guess you have to get rid of all of us.

You are clueless. The base is 75 minimum alone. And people are making commissions on top of that, so 70-100k only if you are an idiot that does not get out of bed in the morning, if your only making a 100k the company will replace you in 3 months. Top territory in the NE? The highest paid sales rep was in TX last year. The sky is the limit, if you want in it is what you make of it. Can make a lot of money here if you really want to.

Still TX? I thought he lost the big account to Biomedical Systems? Or was that one of our accounts?

Has anyone heard of a new company called Inter-Heart (or something like that). One of my docs said that a rep had come into the office yesterday. Doc was impressed with capabilities of software/tests offered.

Being recruited for both companies i cant seem to find any info on life watch. Can anyone give me a good sense of the competition who's better and why just looking to weight out my options. Hopefully you can be as unbiased as possible...thanks

I would say CARDIONET is the way to go, we have used both in our office. Not sure what area you are from but from experience, you cannot trust life watch, there management has a "i really don't give a shit about you" attitude. Both REPS from life watch and cardionet were great to work with, both were professional and pleasant, but the cardionet device works much better. the proof was in the reports. I would watch about for the sales manager who's goes by the name of "GEO" from life watch. He has no balls what so ever and he will throw you under the bus any day of the week to save his own ass. We will not be recommending there company to any of the major hospitals we do business with. We have given GEO specific directions and he never follows through. Life watch is very unorganized and never can get it right,

Geo is well respected at LW and has done a great job. I have known him for years. You are probably some bitter rep who never makes quota and complains about their boss all day. Nice try.

Cardionet in my opinion. Life watch does not have there act together. Always hear complaints about how they constantly fall (very short) of there promises, at least in MASS anyway.

As we all know every LW employee had a 2% cut in pay last week. CN just laid off 50 people yesterday. They were sales reps and Customer Service representatives. Ouch for both companies.

Stop posting you idiot.

I just found out Eric Lang is gone? why?

37 people in home office cut. Sales reps are next, but CEO is stating sales force and management so that he does not see a ton of people leaving the company at once. If you are smart, you would send your resume out and keep your ears open....there is talk from DeMasters that the sales force will go back to 50 - 75 reps by year end. Of course, they aren't going to announce this to us. They certainly gave no announcement or warning to the home office people....they just dumped it on them " by the way...you no longer have a job. " DeMasters packed some of his things and left quickly--he was so upset. Who knows if he will be able to go back and get the rest.
