Cardionet Vs LifeWatch

What does Cardionat pay their sales Reps? Per activation? Now that the end is getting nearer
what will all the staff do? A third of the national sales force let go, monitoring centers closing, major hospital systems firing you. It looks like greed and inefficiency has finally caught up.

Hi folks, I work in a holter AF clinic and have a question for Lifewatch / Cardionet reps. If I have a patient who is having asymptomatic AF with a minimal ventricular response (lets say a conduction rate that would fall in sinus rhythm 60-80 bpm), is there a 30 day monitor out there that would catch it? My problem is that I think most of the algorhythms are set up to detect high rates, yet we do see some of these patients with lower rates who are having AF.

Mednet has the new Heart Trak Wireless 30 day event monitor that provides two channels of ECG while wearing three leads. It is the best of best in event monitoring. There AF algorhythm has been rated the best in diagnosing AF burden by the FDA. It will auto send on Rate, AF and Syncope and the parameters can be set during the enrollment via the website and can be changed the same way. www.mednethealth.net

You can even set your rate response right off the webpage!

Wow, impressive!

On a different note, do they allow you to drive or have sharp objects?

Mednets FDA submission of equivalency was Lifewatch 6108, which is equivalent to king of hearts. Nice try.

Then why does Lifewatch send out their AF monitors with the "AF" turned off. Our Clinic has used both and we see a distinct difference and plus the patients do not have to use a payphone or grandma's corded phone to send an analog signal over.

You need to follow the conversation a little better. What does this have to do with FDA submissions or algorithm equivalencies.
