Curious as to what the folks that voted yes think they will get out of this???
Satisfaction in knowing this, more than almost anything else, will force (underlined) labcorp's management to have to interact with the union (ie; employees). labcorp's tactics for years has been to beat down the hourly works taking advantage of their lack of "voice". Sure, people can quit and go work somewhere else, but why can't a company treat their front line employees like something other than an expense. Same with drivers.
For years, Burlington has done everything it could to squash unionization. At every site where unions have gained a foothold, they have disrupted managements' bullying.
No doubt, labcorp management will do everything they can (legal and maybe not-so-legal) to reverse unionization. At the very least, they will try and make life miserable for anyone thought to support the unions.
