Cadence will be hiring soon

That is "hear" not "here." Why don't you spend time researching their car allowance program. Why don't you also ask your manager what wonderful reports you will be given so you can adequately target your accounts. Why don't you ask what your proposed spending allowance will be.

Boohoo, sour grapes. Don't worry, with your attention to detail, you'll find something soon.

I think all the territories are filled right now. I got the job internally as I knew one of the managers. I don't even know which recruiter they used to get their candidates for interviewing. I guess the best thing is to find out who is the local DM or if you know anyone with a contingent offer, work through them. Sorry I can't be of more help!

For those in the field who have been with cadence, is the culture of the company what was promised to you before you signed on? I'm in biotech now and it's no different from big pharma. I'm sick of the role-playing, unnecessary ride-alongs with managers, and busy paperwork. Please describe the working environment at cadence. Thanks.

Shit-for-Brains,

No one is in the field yet, the drug hasn't been approved yet. I bet the culture where you are is very open and accepting to have hired such a mentally challenged tard like you. Go lick a pole.

Us

Please don't assume "us" at Cadence agrees with your comments. Not a very nice comment to the poster.

Assume what you want, I was offered the job and turned it down. Keep your tissues - you may need them later.

You may have made the right career decision. The Cadence opportunity is shaky at best.
Many products have been successful in Europe that failed to grow in the United States. Also, if iv acetaminophen was going to be a blockbuster why did 'deep pocketed' Bristol Myers Squibb sell the US rights..? They already have a US hospital sales force...

As for the pipeline, that Incline product was previously FDA approved and pulled from the market because it was faulty.
How would you like quota on that product with your job on the line?

Thanks for your support; what an angry person. How the heck should anyone who doesn't work for cadence know whether anyone's out in the field at this point? Many companies have reps out prior to launch to develop and strengthen relationships with customers and canvas the accounts regarding disease state treatment. For any of the posts who claim that there's no micromanagment or paperwork at cadence, an outsider's best guess would be that you're already in field. Good luck to everyone at cadence EXCEPT for the turd who blasted me for my innocent question.

A tard responding to a turd.

Can't believe the bashers on this thread. Whether you couldn't get an interview, did not get selected, or got and offer and then turned it down........why the h*ll are you taking time out of your 'busy' day to post online and throw cold water on the Cadence opportunity. Amazing.

Sounds like you are not in Biotech...sounds like you are in Big Pharma

I'm in biotech sales and looking to jump ship before my company has its next layoff. For those who are currently in the field here is the culture really that different than the other biotech companies? I'm sick of juvenile role-playing and busy nonsense paperwork and checking the box. It seems like all the biotech companies have turned big pharma on us. How different is your working experience at cadence than your last biotech company? Thanks for any insight and good luck with your launch.
