Bye bye Sumitomo

Each of the affiliates started hiring remote employees for G&A, Tech Ops, R&D teams in 2020, and SMPA kept that practice going in 2023. Many of the newer “remote” employees are very excited to be making Boston or CA salary ranges while living in wherever low cost of living no income tax state location they live in. Don't be surprised if you see a lot of good scores from them.

The company is on fire, but pandemic remote work has disappeared everywhere, so you have more than a few who are fake loving it here.
Some love it because they can work 2 jobs or disappear for large chunks of the day for appointments.
 




Don’t understand how Adele can get on a call time after time and NOT acknowledge the bleeding going on. It’s like they are patting their backs we made it a year. Saying we have a people culture and that is what they care about makes me cringe. How is MD not taking accountability for the number of exits in his two divisions. If Kenton understands the metrics of hiring and how large that investment is, you would think they would work harder to actually listen to the field based emp. The NE MSPEC area director is a nightmare. She should be on a plan.
 




They are putting specialty reps on plans.... unless this is some deranged regional director's ideal of motivation. Donny Birjah need to be investigated asap.This company is nose diving. This is NOT the place to be.
EXACTLY! Why are the specialty west reps on plans but not the East? I know DB was mad that not one west rep made coe. But seriously putting us on plans isn’t motivating me but to motivate me to get the F out of here.

They have no general counsel right now, even he got the hell out of here.. David Musselman, reach out to some West reps. See what is really going on with your field team....maybe call some people that arent ranked high.

Yes she is and she has been filling out the plans too! All the rearranging and then merging into smpa has turned some of these people crazier than they were. Hopefully the manager that left were honest on the exit interviews if they even had those. MD won’t likely do anything to help. He is a blowhard.

Dont lose site of the trajectory of this company over the past 2 years. They will continue to take down each sales force one by one.

Myrbetriq had a huge sales force in PCPs and OB-GYN.

The earnings report for Q1 was published yesterday. OAB Sales for North America were $78 million. The prior quarter it was $81 million. The generics for Myrbetriq launched in late April or early May.
 












It’s unlikely that they will just cut one sales force all together. They will likely take some from each division and combine in to one sales force calling on all specialties. One rep calling on all top Uro, obgyn and primary care offices- just like Myrbetric reps did.

They’ll just follow the same blueprint from the previous 2 years when they completed waxed 2 sales forces off. There will be no guess work involved. Mspec is the likely sales force targeted next
