Bring Labcorp to its knees

Have stock, sell it. Then proceed to do your best to destroy this company by being as incompetent in your job as management is in theirs.
They started it we can finish it, lets show them how its done.
Note: Please no posts about patient care, all they are is revenue, we could care less if they live or if they die as long as we get paid.

Rest well, my friend......

This post could have been created by any number of thousands of disgruntled LCA employees. Frustrated? Hell yes! Tired? Hell Yes! What can you do nothing? Nothing! As far as destroying the company goes, well, managment is doing a far better job of it, than any of us could, that's for sure. I, as well as many of my fellow coworkers, have come to the conclusion that we need to just do our jobs, collect our pay(paycheck... now that's a joke) and just go home. There's no longer any sense in worrying about things... no sense in caring... no sense in making any substantive effort to try and make things better at LCA, because in the end, the people that do care are consumed by the gross incompetence and negligence, by all levels of management.

You people are disgusting. Get new jobs!!! Stop being bottom-feeders and trying to make life hell for the rest of us and just move on. Surely you won't be missed! LabCorp may not be the perfect place to work, but no company is! You will find flaws any where you work. So leave. . . .do the rest of us a favor!!

Funny thing, I am able to see more results by doing a bad job than doing a good one. In some strange and twisted way I find it quite fulfilling.

Labcorp is changing direction, for the better. Look at the Northeast, they replaced a very ineffective JG with a proven track winner, Garvey. Just give them some time and I am sure you will see a change for the better.
Even after 40 years I'm still proud to be part of Labcorp, it is what you make it.

It sure is easy to ascertain which posts are made by management-types, isn't it?

I'm in mgmt and yes, this company sucks and is pathetic! How's that for honesty! I have been looking for a job for some time and can't wait to get out. They need to replace many division heads and many at corporate. The next changes need to be in Florida. They need new divisional sr.v.p. and some sales leadership for a change. Then Texas needs some help Dave!

40 years? Where did you start?

40 years? Where did you start?

"What you make of it"?? Did you mean don't pay attention to the man behind the curtain? Your brief comment is like saying the mob is a good place to work if you make the best of it......

No patient care
No employee stability
No ethics (Look at BM, BH, DK, even RN)
Politics like election year on capitol hill
backyard antics that say one thing and do another

Plezzzzz

I work out of the Northeast since 1992. I can tell you that we have had a string of absolutely horrific VPs with only one exception.
JN-she is a prime example why women don't belong in business.
MS-a prime example of what happens when you promote the mentally impaired.
BH-not a bad guy, but he was focused on a job at corporate.
KH-Very good but he inherited such a mess that by the time things started to turn around they fired him.
JG-another prime reason not to hire the mentally impaired.
SG-Intial assessment: all show no go.

You know what? I think the original poster had it right. There is no hope, there is no pride in a job well done. Employees have been beaten down so much that the only response is to do a mediocre job.

Incorrect results are just normal based on the volume, so I'm sure that there will be incorrect results going out today and every day until Labcorp closes its doors.

National Health Labs was the lab that was great. Then we were bought out by Roche Geeezzzzzzzzz whata bunch of mismanaged losers. We knew as soon as the consolidation was completed that we were doomed and to be honest with you im surprised it took them this long to make it happen. They closed one of the largest and most acurate labs in the region and sent the work to labs that couldnt possibly keep up with the one they closed no matter how many people they had working... Roche concept im sure. lmaoooo
Well you got your way now live with it. See all of you at the unemployment line sooner or later.

HAHAHAHAHA!! SPOKEN BY A TRUE LABCORP ASS KISSER!!! Way to go baby thata get ya a kootos and a free stress balll.. your just a big a loser as they are and you deserve to be there so they can put it to your butt instead of ours now lol bend overrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr!

HEY DOES ANYONE KNOW IF ANYONE HAS SHOT STEVE JONES YET?

That narrows it down to about three people. So what is your overall analysis of the company?

My long ride with Labcorp is about over, I am thinking about retirement every day and especially after dealing with those brickheads in Burlington. KCRL and Roche CLINICAL labs was great. PH was a good guy and everyone felt like they belonged to a big family. That changed when Roche bought Biomedical and put them in charge. If Dr. P hadn't inherited millions from his daddy he would just be your typical southern Gomer Pyle, pumping gas.
That is where the company started their long slide. It took someone from the North, TM, to turn it around financially. However he still let the lunatics run the asylum and we continue to have the operational problems that we do.
I can't wait to get a package and be on my way.

This isn't about the North vs. the South or that it took a "Northerner" with his financial genius to "save" us although TM did a good job and we prospered under his leadership. Years ago regional labs did very well thanks to Medicare reimbursement, then the government became more involved and added layers of bureaucratic lunacy resulting in the addition of top management jobs to oversee until the entire lab industry until we had more chiefs than Indians. It was at that point that the regional labs merged to survive. Many took their money and left. Blending RBL and NHL was a culture shock to both sides. All major labs today face the exact same problems so LabCorp is no different from Quest or the smaller labs. Pointing fingers and laying blame does not accomplish much. Revamping a company starts with every employee, whether you work as a courier, an accessioner, a manager or an officer. It is a lot about pride in yourself and attitude about what you do coupled with great leadership. Whether we have the latter remains to be seen but I am willing to do my part and give them a chance to succeed. Changes ARE being made, maybe not where you work at this moment in time, but changes ARE coming. Be optimistic. Life is so much more pleasurable when you are.
