This type of cardiomyopathy apparently isn't as rare as it's made out to be. I don't think it's fair to assume it's in the same category of rare disease drugs that come to mind just yet.
But the science behind it is amazing!!! Do you know anything about it? Because I do, and it’s simply amazing. I am interviewing, and I am an incredible candidate for this job.

The science behind the silencers is amazing. This is a small molecule that keep a protein together. It's not very different from a PPI or an ACE in terms of science. It had better be cheaper than tafamadis because the data is weak. But simple minds are easily amused I suppose.

Heard from one of the hired managers that this hiring event is basically rigged. And that they have no intention of actually hiring the best candidates. These managers plan on poaching/hiring someone who either previously reported to them, or is literally one of their random friends clueless in the cardiovascular space w/ zero rare disease experience if you even want to call this “rare disease”. In other words mediocre people who prob lied about their access. Even with a panel it will still be rigged. What is sad is you don’t stand a chance of being fairly considered in these fake interviews. And that folks is why this company will burn. Good luck

Has anyone interviewed this week and if so, what's the vibe of their leadership? Sounds like it could be a great role yet doesn't seem promising in the end.

a bunch of pcyc fucktards, especially market access director who divorced his wife to marry a pcyc lawyer
Had my final interviews with panel yesterday. Now, I'll wait and see if I got the role. A lot of managers from AZ were brought over. And I was told some reps will be as well. Many of the managers have come from respected big pharma companies. Also, the leadership seems to have a good grasp on what they need to get out the gate strong. Of course there will be some new company hurdles, but impressed with those I have spoken with thus far. Have interviewed with other startups and this is one that I have taken a liking too. Let's see what happens!

Not going to lie, this was the MOST unprofessional ridiculous experience I ever went through. - the person above who referenced “rigged” and the “ market access” beep beep - SPOT ON…be grateful that you dodged a bullet here….

Dodged a bullet indeed. Apparently some of these managers were literally coerced by other managers to score certain candidates high. What a shit show. In other words the actually district hiring manager had a solid candidate in mind but was pressured to move some other manager's recommendation forward. That when the time came for the actual face to face interview, the managers literally looked detached and agitated. Prob due to in fighting and stupid power plays amongst these idiots. 2 years tops before this mickey mouse startup is done. But by that point you may not even want this company on your resume.
