That is already happening. And it's not the low performers. It's the high performers who are leaving. Everyone is penalized for sales. Low performers with little to know bonus and high performers who have a cap basically. Two of the top 50 left!

Sorry anti-USC guy, you're barking up the wrong tree. The real pod monkey whiners are from the midwest, southeast and northeast. All these monkeys are used to big returns on little effort because there have never been any obstacles in their professional path (managed care, acquisition cost, access). Now they have to THINK, work hard and THINK again, it's clearly very difficult for them so they post their incoherent, grammatically incorrect rants against everything here because it's easier than looking in the mirror.
This is the exact problem. A typical post from a typical Amgen Manager. The reason the bone health hell hole is failing is micro managerment, horrible business model (Amgen is the only company where a territory in New York City should produce the exact same as a territory in Maine, yeah OKAY), constant strategy shifing, and mark my words this drug won't be successful in primary care until Amgen gets a self injectable label and patients can use Part D consistently. It's no surprise CT can't figure this out. Wall street demand his exit!!!!!!!!!
I hope the new guy Ken can make a more accurate projection of the goals for 2012. If you set the goals that is not realistic it just kills the moral of the entire sales force. The sales force did not make goal in 2010 during the launch. Now fast forward to 2011, we are still about 20% short of projection. Amgen is setting up Prolia to fail with such outrageous goals. If only 20-25% of us are trending to make our goals for 2011, why would the rest of the 75-80% work so hard? I know I would not put in any extra effort if I was going to fall short anyway.
Please make 2012 right!
