"working hard" enough is my strategy. Hitting company goals every quarter and semester and getting to the max payout tier. That is my definition of working hard enough. Why over work? Right now, I am prospecting and waiting to see S2 comp plan before seriously working.
 


















my advice to everyone is that it is better to look for a job while you have a job. why not beat the rest of Amgen to the punch and try to make a move now. it's going to get very clogged very soon
 






That is already happening. And it's not the low performers. It's the high performers who are leaving. Everyone is penalized for sales. Low performers with little to know bonus and high performers who have a cap basically. Two of the top 50 left!

Sorry anti-USC guy, you're barking up the wrong tree. The real pod monkey whiners are from the midwest, southeast and northeast. All these monkeys are used to big returns on little effort because there have never been any obstacles in their professional path (managed care, acquisition cost, access). Now they have to THINK, work hard and THINK again, it's clearly very difficult for them so they post their incoherent, grammatically incorrect rants against everything here because it's easier than looking in the mirror.

HT gone! Great move! CT has to be next, followed shortly or at the same time by KD. These are the toxic trio that has run this BU into the ground. The harm that has been done is not irreperable. Ken will get JD and BB to agree to a realistic forecast and all of you will have a realistic chance at success. Hang in there!
 






I hope the new guy Ken can make a more accurate projection of the goals for 2012. If you set the goals that is not realistic it just kills the moral of the entire sales force. The sales force did not make goal in 2010 during the launch. Now fast forward to 2011, we are still about 20% short of projection. Amgen is setting up Prolia to fail with such outrageous goals. If only 20-25% of us are trending to make our goals for 2011, why would the rest of the 75-80% work so hard? I know I would not put in any extra effort if I was going to fall short anyway.

Please make 2012 right!
