BMS and CSO Separation

Heard 2 different things- some territories will keep their inVentiv rep (according to BMS reps) and also heard the contract is ending. My guess is the latter is the truth.

Is the 5:00 conf call the only time? Just wondering if everyone is schedule for same time call. My guess is Sept 30th the last day... With Q1 bonus to follow. Make sense b/c that's why they waited to pay out

I don't know if there is only one call for reps (5pm est). The e-mail did mention a 'series of conference calls..."

What about Q2 and Q3 bonus? Will inVentiv make good on those? Time will tell!

Looks like inventiv reps that are I pods are on the 4:30 call. It would be my guess that they will be kept on after the end of September and that we will be done the end of September.

That's correct... There is a 4:30 call and 5:00. It is logical that those on the 4:30 call are staying because they are needed in their specific territories (i.e. NO BMS Diabetes rep). Those on the 5:00 call are no longer needed and the contract is ending.

It seems to be set up like it was two years ago (when overlays and select group 2 reps were done)... For those of us on the 5:00 call, I think we will be told that the contract is ending Sept. 30th, but we are done in the field now and just need to wrap up our stuff and get everything turned in and turned over. 30 days notice is fair. More than I thought we might get.

We are suppose to get Q1 bonus Sept. 9th. I know they still better pay out Q2 and Q3 also!!

No surprise that this is done at the end of September. But is anyone else floored at the way they're handling it?! It is so incredibly obvious they are trying to cheat us out of every last penny of our bonuses. I'm guessing more than half of us will never see a dime of Q3 dollars and may be lucky to see Q2! Oh wow, I forgot, we still haven't seen Q1 and we're into the 9th month of the year!!!!

We will also never see documentation of sales. So IF they pay us ANYTHING, it's a complete crap shoot as to what you'll get.

Regarding the question someone posed on our 5 o'clock call about giving 2 weeks notice on Sept 15th and still getting Q2 & Q3 bonus, does that mean they would still make us work those 2 weeks to the very end to get paid? Or would they count the 2 weeks as if we worked to the end of the contract, but cut us loose that very day?

You can count on just 1 thing from inventiv:

If they can find a way to fuck you out of money you've earned- they will.

Why would you give 2 weeks notice, with an end date the same date of the contract?? It wouldn't be any different... They would still expect you to be in the field those 2 weeks and you would be held accountable for the calls.

Someone on the call asked if they found another job and gave two weeks notice, would they still get bonus. The answer Tony gave was yes.

So, back to the question, would they count the 2 weeks as if we worked to the end of the contract, or cut us loose that very day?

They are going to take whatever route allows them to keep your incentive comp dollars. I was on this contract for 18 months and got 2 commission checks. Seems impossible but when it comes to fucking people out of money- Inventiv is the industry leader.

What was the reason you were given why you didn't get your bonus? Did you pursue it, question it, involve your manager? Just curious. Now that the contract is over, we will be waiting to get our Q2, and Q3 bonus. We should plan on reporting back here how we made out.
