I dunno. I kinda enjoy the Farting in my Car thread. Nothing will change immediately with EKRA and maybe not at all - except tighter overall compliance and more serious AKS behaviors. There will be an amendment, exception, safe harbor, additional language etc... No one has changed their comp plan because of this. Not the big labs or smaller labs. It's virtually impossible to eliminate revenue or profit performance from for-profit sales comp plans. Business as usual people.

The regulators have added more language and complexity to their laws with EKRA. You are right that many small labs will continue with disregard for the rules as they are written. EKRA will make it easier for the regulators to punish, fine, and incarcerate when and who they choose - and it is a virtual certainty that they will find violators to make examples of at their leisure and convenience.

If you as a rep or a company ignore these statutes, nothing may happen - or they may choose to come at you with both barrels with their very gray and loosely written legislation. At the end of the day, it simply places all involved at the mercy of government and insurance company whims.

Not legally and not by Quest Diagnostics. And if we are in some obscure market and you know about it, cash in fool. Whistleblower attorneys advertise right here on CP for exactly that reason. Physician Lab sales are over. Hen does the grace period end? That’s what we all want to know.

What we all want to know, is what sort of an asshat gets online during business hours to encourage his coworkers and colleagues to file suit against their employer? Bit of advice, son. You will not find a receptive audience here. This forum is populated almost exclusively by industry professionals at Quest Diagnostics. We know where our bread is buttered. We protect our interests and we will not tolerate opportunistic sell outs. Since you are no doubt on your 6th, "sick day", this new year, take some time, flip through the channels and find yourself a disability or personal injury lawyer that will promote the dream lifestyle you have been waiting for. In the meantime, we will be busy working for the betterment of our families, our employer and everyone in our great nation. Hope this helps.

I agree and he always had perfect timing.
He does lose patience if it does not go his way but MONEY IS HIS GOD and starting over is not fun.
He will see how the other reps are doing before he makes a decision. He may have perfect timing once again. Enjoy the day since.Time to get to the GYM for some PILATES
