Best and Worst RD

Natalie in ATL under Totty has the worst turnover in the history of Shire. Think Im lying? Research and see. Theres a horrible reason why.

Major issues with one. You are lucky if she is not riding with you every other week. Major control issues. It's getting better but at one point even the offices were comenting on it. The high turnover rate is earned. She has and will continue to run good reps out.

I can't believe managers like this even exist anymore at Shire. So glad I am not in this region. I have seen the number of vacant territories and all I have to say is, no wonder.
 












Everyone has seen the vacant territories for years now and upper management does NOTHING
Upper management sees it and yet does nothing about it...it is easier for them that way. Sounds like that Natalie RD is almost as bad as GAW, the Baton Rouge RD, but that is impossible. I've been at Shire for some time now and all I hear what a bad person and manager GAW is. I hope I never get her as a RD.
 






Interviewing for position, was sent online assessment. Was told it took 30 minutes to complete and wise to have a calculator nearby. Has anyone taken this and what's it like?

Any manager that is with a rep more than once every other month needs to just do the job themselves. Numbers are too volatile to be measured less than that. Sounds like Totty's team is wasting resources. Trust the people you hire and let them do the job.

That's what you get when you have a manger that only has a few years of field sales experience. She doesn't get it, and should have never been promoted to a manger. She can't lead a team!
 






Wow, you guys sound like a bunch of High School girls that are angry bc their mom makes them do their homework. I am pretty sure Shire hires adults and not 14 year old girls. Do your job, worry about your business and your RD will enjoy working with you.

You have to admire a "Brave" RD. Now that that the ZD optimization initiative is almost complete it's time to move on to the RD's. You need to spend your time kissing aSs instead of being Braveheart on CP.

They get theirs everyday because they are happy people that enjoy what they do. If they didn't, they would move on unlike the reps that just complain all day. I would love to see the RD's start a thread about the best/worst reps.

A majority of reps that are posting in this thread are happy people and enjoy what they do too. They are commenting on RD competencies good and bad. If a manager has reps that "complain all day" than maybe they should take a look in the mirror & decide if it's their inability to lead people. True leaders focus on the happiness of the people they lead, not personal happiness. They don't have to worry about complainers because their reps are focused on what's important. I'm guessing you don't fall in that category since your solution is for reps to move on instead of developing your core competencies as a manager. Good luck!

All of these negative comments come from 2 current reps and one that is no longer with the company. He really just has nothing better to do at night. So keep stirring the pot, but you aren't cooking anything.

In your case I vote egg. The second sentence implies you aren't an RD, but you follow-up with good reps don't spend time on CP which confirms you aren't a rep. This is a message board, don't be so sensitive. Take a deep breath and let it go, it's going to be okay.

You are describing the opposite of GAW. She couldn't lead water out of a garden hose. Her misery is contagious.
