AAAAhhhhhh here we go again, the announcement was meant to be 2 weeks ago, then Tuesday week, then Tuesday just gone.
This just goes to show the incredible amount of BS merchants cafepharma unfortunately attracts.

In a recent meeting, the head man in Waterford (DF) said that there is a buyer for every SDD and SL59 lens made, the more they can make the more they will sell.
Biotrue lines are in a minority in the WF plant.
With such huge demand for SDD and SL59 lenses they cannot afford to not operate their machines 24/7 as the financial losses would greatly outweigh the wage savings from putting ops on short time.
So this shite about putting people on short time is yet more cafepharma rubbish

I agree. We are doing well in the Waterford plant. SL59 is flying, so is SDD and Naturelle. SL66 is doing ok as well as 3.8ml lenses. Its rumours on this site that spreads like wildfire, filling people with un-necessary worry and panic. Because of these worries, workers are getting stressed out and its not fair.

Announcement tomorrow, Tuesday, Friday, next week, next month, next year.....Seriously

A new plant is been built in Poland.............. I don't think so!!!!.
B&L Waterford, unlike any of the other plants, has 1 advantage. We actually own the building, lock stock and barrel. We are not paying rent!!!!!!

Unless you can back up "what you heard", people, bored with nothing better to be doing, should keep their "rumours" to themselves !!!!!!!!!!
 






Unfortunately no amount of exclamation marks changes the fact that Valeant does not necessarily care about rent-free buildings when most of Waterford's product is being warehoused and not exactly "flying".

Who said there was a plant being built in Poland. If you do your Due Diligence, You'll see they already have one bigger than the Irish plant. Not saying that lines will shift but if they have space....Valeant don't like to do business in Western Europe. Too much red tape. They prefer to operate in Mafia run countries.
 






Exactly, bring on the Russians, Valeant love countries where corruption is rampant.... Fits into their philosophy! And they can get away with murder...

Western Europe has far too many restrictions with healthcare systems.. Regulatory etc..

No. You've misheard. All getting a Maple Leaf to cover the crotch area! That way you don't leave your area and it guarantees high performance.
 










































If the level of positivity displayed at the communications meeting this morning is a guide to the future prospects for the Waterford site is anything to go by, we are in deep, deep, doo doo.
The sense of despair emanating from the GM was palpable.
