You're naive to assume it will be contact to go. If you're DS-2, you're costing AZ more overhead and you're definitely NOT a better rep than than many of the Publicis reps.

I don't know how this will play out. I did read something like this on this site, but not sure how accurate it is. Publicis just doesn't pay enough. Alot of folks are lookin elsewhere. It's ok for short term but to stay long term is crazy.

To address Publicis giving no feedback on if this contract will continue in 2015, the upper level managers should give us some kind of notice. I've worked at other contract companies and all gave us an idea 3-4 months minimum of what was to come. Publicis should give some feedback or you got alot of folks lookin for something else.

I was on 2 contracts at this fuckfest. PSS will give you 1-2 weeks oof notice and no severance. This dump is the worst place I have ever worked and that includes working the night shift at McDonald's when I was 16.
 






Just great... We're all doomed then! My last company the manager gave us a heads up on lay offs, downsizing etc. This is contract, they should know easily if the contract will renew or not wayyy before mid December!

Oh, they know way before mid December, they just won't tell you. And they will also say "we're working on extending the contract and we have great confidence in it because we have such a great relationship with AZ" blah blah blah. Contract is over at least by Dec. I think sooner. Send our your resumes now.
 






Why spend the money to bring us to the meeting then is Sept is the end? Although I think once we coordinate the customers with the DS2 folks we are out. December sounds right

I am also surprised we are included in the August meetings if the contract is not going to be extended.
I think it will run beyond December. No guess as to HOW long beyond December...but I don't think they would invest the money to send us to a meeting if the plan was already in place to cut us loose.

That's a fair point, and I thought of that myself. Then again, AZ spends money on stupid shit all the time, so it wouldn't surprise me. I had heard Sept we were gone. But I can see Summit and DS4 being gone by Dec. I am not planning on waiting to find out though. I got a great pod team, and I won the fx payout. But I want to stay employed and I'm not going to hang around and wait for my fate.

I know the "September" date has been circulating on CP. You said you have heard September...what is your source? Anything outside of CP?

Well, I do know one thing for sure. They are definitely keeping The Summit Team because of their outstanding contributions. Class act sales force. HAHAHAHA
