AZ Diabetes Contract

Zone Director, Area Business Director, these are examples of titles that mean nothing but give someone a fat paycheck and a title so that contract has the appearance of being something real. Susan Beach or whomever are just an empty suit. They have an education so it sound good when they talk about themselves but all that you will hear from them is the occasional phone call about halfway thru the contract to tell you that everything is great and the customer parent company is happy. This means keep checking your boxes so it appears that work is being done and those in managerment have hired the right people for the job. You might then hear from them again at the end when they will say the deal is close to being done and the contract extended or trying to find something else to roll people into. It's a ll a bunch of crap until they low bid another contract company and sign a new one and act like they have this great opportunity for you. Contract is a cycle that churns and burns people year after year without and guarentee for the future. With that 4 years of college did you think the best you can do is a job that goes from year to year? Your better than that, so tell the next contract that comes along thanks but no thanks.

Is anyone here from wave 1 of the training?

I need to know what the schedule was like for week 2 of the virtual training. Any info on what the schedule was like for your last day would be great...

week 2 - starts late morning and continues thru4:30--- log in w/ computer and call in with phone.. listen to an unhelpful trainer talk about himself and review material from the assignment. all reading and assignments are online. Tests every night.. Buddy up with a group from your area. the one who has previous experience selling januvia or some other dpp4 inhinibitor can pass these tests with flying colors.. share the questions answers with your group.. if you dont get a 90 you need to send an email to the trainer asking for permission to take a potty break. 1 finger for pee, 2 for poop..

Very funny post! Is it really that bad? Is the trainer from AZ or is the trainer from PSS? Training is supposed to be helpful!

This was the worst training I have had with any pharma company. There is clearly a disconnect between material, training and testing. Throw in the unorganized scheduling and making simple training so complicated and it becomes comical. Take MS Lync, Webex, Telecoms, etc. and throw it out and start over.

The training was the WORST. It was run by AZ old timers who think very highly of themselves and who constantly passed the buck to either sales learning department or IT. The systems are horrific as the previous poster stated. Don't even bother listening or following along to ANY of it.. They actually want people to fail. Just read the material on your own and be sure to BUDDY up to take tests. Don't take the test on your own. Group up - have one person read module 1 and know it inside out, allocate another for module 2, and so on.. Don't expect your Publicis DM to be of any help. Hopefully Pfizer knows how awful this training department is.

I'm interviewing for an opening on the AZ onglayza contract. When is it slated to end? Recruiter gave me a canned answer of blah blah blah.

If I am honest, I have to tell you the longevity of this contract may be very short. Like end of '14

I don't have facts, but based on a few recent changes with the AZ diabetes divisions, I think I'm accurate
