Axogen

JS will be sadly missed. I mean she was so instrumental in well, besides self promotion, nothing. I cannot imagine her being CEO of a car wash. Good riddance hack.
Now, how long before that equally inept scumdog SM hits the bricks and takes his remaining goof with him. Just another day in the ever revolving door of temps at AxoGen.

Bye the bye - Any company who has the gonads to hold a NSM at an airport hotel, in Detroit, in July, explains all you need to know about their financial status and lack of brain. What a dump!![/QUOTE

The remaining goof must be BW? The other nutjob was fired, whoops resigned, a couple of weeks back.

How much money did Shitarelli take out of Axogen during her stay there?

Wasn't she originally a "consultant" to Axogen, and then some how magically she came back as a key employee - was it to sell Axogen to Baxter (Just like Apatos)?

JS was a consultant in the early days of Axg for about a year (2007-2008). Then came back in a "Mrktg" capacity in 2012 after several 1 yr. jobs. She was not liked by many outside of KZ as she was abrasive, rude and pretentious. However, she was not the problem. The trash still remains.

Share holder - Do they have any recourse?

Much has been invested based on the size of the market.

The amount paid JS is not in keeping with industry standards - was this a structured smash and grab with a give back to someone?

The company is set up with basically one product with limited application, within a small subset of surgeons i.e it's a one trick pony. The lack of a solid business model, questionable market potential and lack of leadership leaves much to be desired with AxoGen. The gaol is obviously to be bought out however, since they have never, and will never, turn a profit, that objective is extremely unlikely. As for JS, who cares. She was a friend of KZ who she thought could help bring the AxoGen barge along in some capacity. She did not help. As per JS work history, her 1-2 year time clock went off and time to find another gig. Let's be real, besides KZ, a legal team and John out of the north, there is no one else needed in that compnay besides a bunch of 1099s. Having a direct SF with such a small niche product to will never work.

I would disagree on the trash comment as the overall general description of what remains. The nerve graft is really valuable and can make a difference. Additionally, there are reps at AXG who are in for the right reasons, work hard and care about patients and their docs. On the flip, comments about JS were accurate and trying to develop a long term profitable business on one niche product, as posted, is obviously not working. Additionally, reps are underpaid, upper management grossly overpaid and there is a poor business plan in place with unqualified personnel as key decision makers. Aother earlier comment made is spot on (IMHO), the graft should either be in the bag of a company who has other key products to offer as there lead and can bring a much needed corp punch or, blow up the current model, clean house (CEO down) and start over.

Why didn't Integra buy Axogen?

They just bought TEI.

I believe Integra was interested in Avance but ,not the others and that option was not available. Really, AXG is in a tough spot. They have a decent product in Avance but, without profitability and sound personnel at the helm, the inevitable is the inevitable.

Did anyone listen to the KZ/Geraldo Rivera exchange?

It was two recorded/canned pitches both sides filling in the blanks - in other words
an infomercial!

Oh Boy, and for that KZ gets paid?

KZ needs to read current leadership books. Those days are long over KZ. Ask around.

First off, let’s be honest, KZ is CEO because (for the time being) she has been able to raise money necessary to float the tank that is AXG. However, the clock is running out. As far as leadership, management and other skills pertinent to running an attractive, profitable business, those are obviously not her strengths. Anyone with a little accounting acumen can dig into Axg's financial reports and realize there is no way they can or, ever will be profitable, under her strategy. The expenditures, gross over-payouts to management, constant turnover of reps and management, lack of any pipeline, lack of one GPO, lack of opportunity for reps to make money (i.e. stay motivated), lack of honesty and trust amongst everyone, etc., etc., is a study of how NOT to run a business.

All true.

Raising Money where? On television's "Shark Tank"? Can't wait to hear what Shark, Kevin O'Leary has to say to KZ

KZ has been successful in the past in securing $ from investors as well as the govt. Her story was a good one at the beginning but, it's now old and tired. After 8 yrs AXG is still not close to being profitable and with no change in game plan on the horizon, who is going to gamble on a miracle turnaround.

KZ successful in the past???

Who came up with the $$ (Freitag)?

Was this the plan from day #1, smoke and mirrors?

If its' sooo good why didn't Jamie put his money where is mouth is?

Does anyone have an official "body count" from inception?

Anyone who is familiar with the company could ask these plus, a million more reasonable questions and never understand the lunacy that is AxoGen. Be real, everyone knows the deal before walking into that gig. They are the brown shoes in a world of tuxedos. Accept it and forget about em.

I would second that. Enough has been posted about this compnay to give anyone plenty of advanced notice about the troubles that lay ahead. Small company, small minded.

Note: please tell me post about Axg holding a NSM in a Detriot Airport hotel in July was BS.
