Axogen

New product for pain coming out 01/2019 with current data collections very favorable. The breast market is taking off for reinnervation and will be huge moving forward with a website just launched resensation.com. This qtr numbers so far are really good, its a good time to be here. New reps and independents finally beginning to carry their weight.
Hey SM...congrats on "choosing" a great time to cash out your 10k shares.

Yep. Just cleansed the sales org with a new VP Sales after many years. We'll see how this guy performs. They brought in Gingrich a little over a year ago as Chief Comm. Officer. Great move. I worked with him at BSC. He's got a solid background of execution, a great leader and a good guy. Made similar changes on the marketing side and cleaned that up.

Gingrich is out. WTF is going on at Axogen?

Wrong move for Axogen! I know Jon Gingrich was very well respected across the org. and was making things happen. He was a great find for the company. Continued to post significant growth and make needed changes in org.. Insiders say he couldn't make more change/improvements he wanted... and left. Good for him. I'll certainly follow where he goes. I hear more changes at the VP level are just a matter of time. Reps are leaving since his recent departure as well.

Looks like Axogen is expanding the sales force again. When I read through this thread it seems reps were having to work harder and harder to make less every year than the year before. With the changes in VP of sales has morale and the health of the sales force improved? Has pay stabilized at all or is this still a volatile place to work for someone looking to make a long-term move?

I was only there for a short time but I managed to hear and see bad signs almost immediately. First I hear the VP of sales speak negatively towards the CEO and her leadership in an unsettling way. Ironically this was at our training class which I later find out another female rep was sexually harassed and nothing was done about it. All this came off as very unprofessional and started my second guessing joining axogen. Shortly after that I was pushed by my manager to make a hospital purchase 3 years worth of products which as you can imagine didn't go over well. When I voiced my concern he basically told me to do as I'm told. Later I was told by a senior rep that our manager has past sexual harassment complaints as well as mental instability issues. I'm getting all this in only a few short weeks of being there. I decided at this point to walk away from a boys club which became evident quickly the more I spoke to older reps.

Relax snowflake, you can handle unsettling talk and the other issues. It will all be ok, sweetie....

I got a call from a recruiter regarding an open position (not the breast side) and was wondering how is the culture, products, leadership, pay...The recruiter said it is $85k base and $170-$200k first year. What % of reps hit their quota in 2019? Is there turnover? What is the average tenure here? Are there many competitors in this space? Thanks in advance for your help!
