ARI Firings

Happen to know the last person well who was fired by DD and KG from maintenence. What a joke. They (AMGEN) seems to be able to get away with anything, right or wrong. Trust me on this one if DD doesn't like or want you your history.
 












DD fired CA for not badging in, we are all guilty of that. She is a scumbag, karma will catch up with that POS. She is the type of Manager that gives Amgen a bad name. Add the fact that she hires her friends husband as a manager when he has only glasswash and wharehouse experience. DD you are the queen of scumbags at ARI.
 






DD truly is a curse on FMS, and an embarrasment to ethical managers everywhere. Her minion DA is worthless and a danger to those who have to work under this no nothing loser. Stay strong boys, we will outlast her sorry ass. OHH except managers, please continue to polish her gunt, at every chance, but please don't support your workers.!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

"we are all guilty of that"? I have always badged to enter any building. If you are not doing that then you have violated an SOP that was one of the first ones you read when you got hired. The simplest of things to do and you cant comply?

As for DD. I know her well. I have not worked for her but I know people who do. If you do what you are supposed to do you wont have a problem with her. She is strong on safety and procedures. Whats wrong with that? In the environment that we work in those two things are very important. If you find it hard working for someone that wants you to follow the SOPs and safety procedures then maybe she is not the problem and you will have a problem with anyone you work under in the future.

See the problem with DD is she chose not to validate CA's story. She accused him of not badging in at the Bldg 7 to 5 door, and claimed he was not at his desk working. She could have checked the email logs to see if he was their. She chose not to. HR outright called him a lier. If they are going to call people liers, at least they can do is have the BALLS to verify their stories. MFS has a great group of people, and I hope all of them and their families can make it through DD's wrath. DD knows that their is nothing you can do, because we are all "at will" good job DD in the destruction of MFS. Lets all give her a hand! Your doing a bang up job. NOT!

DD may be "strong" on safety and following SOPs but she is a failure as a leader. Where are her Amgen values? If treating your hard working, dedicated, experienced staff like shit while rewarding ass kissers (such as yourself) to positions they are not qualified to perfrom is an Amgen value then she takes the cake. Amgen is losing quality and safety minded individuals weekly because of her "management expertise".

As far as my experiences at Amgen, I've been an E on every review. Have you?

Never Piggybacked in over 5 years. I have gone on the internet but that is allowed by Amgen policy as long as it does not interfere with you work or result in overtime. Part of my job requires me to research products online so I am on the internet alot.

We are getting off the subject. DDs management style will result in more responsible staff members. I dont see the problem you have with her.

Congratulations on your "E" reviews, but as strange as this sounds consistent "E" ratings is a bit of a red flag. Have you been promoted? I'm assuming not since you probably would have mentioned that. Either you need to be promoted or challenged more in your goals. Organizations that don't advance people with your performance record or set more challenging goals aren't going to be or remain industry competitive.

That is true. I received an E the first year i was here. The following 4 years I recieved S. My reviews are always great but I set my goals high and take on as much as I can. Because of that, I enjoy my job and dont focus on my rating so much. I have been promoted.
 






As far as CA he might not have been the brightest talent in the department, but by no means did he deserve to lose his job. I think if you were to poll everyone at the site on "piggybacking" you would find many many people have done it. Has anyone else been checked for "piggybacking"???? If not then why was he selected????
 






I would really like to see DD's performance report. It should go something like this. Saved Amgen hundreds of thousands of dollars through the unethical and illegal termination of highly qualified technicians. In the process, alienated a whole department of dedicated, motivated, and technically superior technicians.
Or maybe, something like this. Created an atmosphere where teamwork and the safety of the MFS department are second to ass kissing. She did say she does not care about her employees, she only wants to progress her career. Will she deny this ,of course she will. Again let's give her a big round of applause for making MFS a laughingstock. I've talked to many managers for production, and there is no one who likes DD. Maybe she should think about her Amgen values. Or lack thereof. Get with the program DD, and maybe you will someday get some respects.

I have had less than an hours worth of work per day for the last 6 months.

It is just a matter of time before they see I have been surfing and emailing for over 4 hours a day and going to the gym for over an hour a day and spending the rest of the day in the cafe.

There is plenty of work to do if you want to look for it. In the new continuous improvement environment, its not hard to find something that needs improvement (a process, your shop, JHA program, whatever) and take the initiative to make it better. Things will pick up at ARI and when it does you will be busy again.
There are also opportunities to develop your business skills. Take some computer classes. All the training they offer will make you a more valued employee which will help you at Amgen or another company if you get let go.

It's a wonderful thing coming into work every day to an enviroment where all I hear is deogatory comments about DD. It is a shame. This deparment ran smooth like a well oiled machine before she arived. She needs to find another job before production take the fall. Remember without facilities, the whole process will fail. Or is that what she really wants? Go back to safety, or do they not want you there either? And does HP know anything? Nothing about LOTO that's for sure. Polly want a cracker! How bout a reply to that DA?? The one who has no qualification to do your job, only DD's bitch!
