Argenx

Turnover seems to be kicking into gear around here lately. Any thoughts?
Well when you get paid for 1 job but work 2-3, or you're a TMB and SBL is in your car every 2 weeks, or you're just tired of crappy stipend for cars and tired of destroying a car that depreciates daily, well you're gonna see a tick up in turnover.

HKM employment attorneys out of Philly are reaching out to people to help people who feel like argenx changed the terms of employment

So in what way do they feel the terms of employment were changed? Agree many feel they were sold something different, but not sure what angle a lawfirm thinks it is going to work?

Seems like a few new positions they just hired people for are open already, I guess some people dodged a bullet it seems.

What once was a small, flourishing, amazing biotech has turned into a sweat shop where people are exhausted, undervalued, ignored. fired. Great science, lousy leadership and people management. Sadly, it will catch up to them and employees and patients will suffer. It always does. May be not today or tomorrow, but it will- and then those lousy leaders can retire with all the $$$ earned by the hard work of others.

I am in the process of interviewing. I had my panel interviews last week. I was told that panel interviews for all candidates would continue to take place through this week. Hoping to hear something by Friday.
These will be some of the hardest working people you will come across, who are working tirelessly to make this a successful venture despite the the efforts of the C-Suite to inhibit it

Org Structure - This will change on a monthly basis. This will included who manages certain aspects of the business to who will be on certain teams. Job Responsibilities: Expect these to change at a even quicker cadence, Goals will be changed with out any notice and based off of nothing more then what the CEO is trying to present to the board to receive more funding. Culture: Is abusive and chaotic, You will be consistently in a Flight or Fight response. Internal strife will be started by the C-Suite pinning employees against each other and asking for input on how someone is handling their responsibilities, Career Opportunities: This will be presented to you as... Put in the work and the opportunity for growth will present itself. This is an illusion, what you are actually signing up for is that they expect to have full access to you 24/7/365 no matter the circumstance.
Get a plan together and execute it. You’re a leader, act like it. Leaders are autocrats and, most likely, a narcissists. Don't dare counter their opinions. They will keep you walking on eggshells, blame you and gaslight you. The senior management, though smart, have become yes-men. Turnover is extremely high. The decent pay keeps people for a while, but whoever stays become docile automatons. Unless you are desperate for your daily bread, stay away

Holy shit you just described big pharma on steroids. I guess when leadership of these start ups were all born and raised in big pharma it only manifests.

The biggest problems are: a) the completely fake corporate culture which Belgium tries desperately to cover with their stupid-assed “Culture Labs” and bullshit HR nonsense; b) absolutely unsustainable growth given rare disease states with limited growth potential (HINT: there just are NOT 100,000 people in the US with CIDP that require treatment!); and c) US employees who are treated like complete crap by Euro management including the Austro lezbitch and Tim—and don’t deny it. US non-commercial people, are a total afterthought—they’re not important and they’re just there to make the Belgians feel like they’re including the US, their ATM, as if they’re being “included”. Nobody can deny any of this. If you do, you’re fooling yourself, or you’re on more psychedlics than a Scots party animal in Amsterdam on Valentine’s Day.

Got that 1000% correct. And Tim is a slave master as is the Austro lezbitch. Not one of the Euro leaders gives a DAMN about the US, where all of the money is earned. NOT ONE, but especially Karen (how aptly named she is!). If Hytrulo were suddenly to experience a Vyvgart/Hytrulo were to experience a true safety ”pin down” (sorry—old talk from old company) event, like FDA going through AEs in a long overdue audit, TIm would be on the private jet to Grand Cayman and the Austro would be in her Swiss Chalet with her lipstick sweetie with a squad of private guards fending off process servers.
