Be careful what you wish for - NVS provided nice compensation packages for years (base, bonus, benefits, pension/401k-match etc) - CROs are cut-throat, nasty, unstable, and generally employ the cheapest possible resources - and job security is NIL

Jiminez is making a big mistake banking on Hyderabad for setting up an expanded NVS base for IT etc. - he may not know that Hyderabad is getting split in half as we speak due to political redistricting - expect huge riots and curfews for next few years

Nothing that huge cuts won't wring from an organization and nothing that a few years on unemployment won't remove from an individual. Sad that it has come to this but typical of a large sprawling corp that isn't well managed or led. You can find many examples of this in HBR.
