Anything new in Metabolic division?





CC here laid off last June with nearly a year of severance and 33K double down bonus. We were not told exact dates. As early as Feb at national meeting we were told that things were in place to fill the void. Then we were told about 6 weeks later that it would be a good idea to search the abbvie jobs boards, and beleive me, there were about 10 jobs nation wide. Then in late April or May we were told that there is really nothing in the works and that is when the DMS would meet with reps almost weekly to update resumes, calculate career interest, etc. In middle May we knew it was over. so expect the same kind of thing. PS if they have an outgoing placement meeting like the Dallas thing skip it, it was a waste of time except they did give us food and drink and our own room which I took advantage of with a nice co worker but as far as helping you find a job it was a joke!
 




PS testosterone replacements will most likely be pulled from market too many warnings and doctors are fleeing from these drugs. In fact my doctor wont refill mine because of the effects so .......
 




You get the 60 days of warn and 1 week for every year in AbbVie. Max: 39 weeks. Full benefits..car available until they get it. They will collect all your stuff also. You will sign a new employee agreement.

It's not bad. Oh, if you get a new gig, you are supposed to tell HR. Some did, others did not. No one was pursued.
 




























Trust that its no coincidence the the voicemail upgrade is postponed until late July. They announced it and then all the sudden postponed. From cardio care. It's coming soon. Package will be as good as cardio care. Watch for the resume workshops.
 
















Yes. Insane micromanagement and conference calls. Our DM is tracking everything. He used to not be this way. New management effecting him managing appropriately. He has been a DM many years even with solvated under various management and now all the sudden drastic change in management style. He even tells us he does not like doing it but basically has to and play the game. Which are his words. Sad we are at this point
 




















Please ask for volunteers for severance!! Best way to reduce headcount!

Got a feeling they are going to make a big sweep that an optional program would not come close to meeting. Just my opinion but when I look around my territory and many others in my region I see tons of overlap, not to mention the fairly fast uptake that generic will make.
Just hope they are generous on the package, but not real comfy about that either.
