Anyone else choosing NOT to get vaccinated?

It’s funny that I don’t need to get the smallpox, measles, polio, rubella, mumps, etc vaccine every year like the money grab flu vaccine. And apparently some sort of covid booster that should be out soon.
 




Not getting vaccinated either. But not because I am nervous about the vaccine. MRNA technology is solid and side effects are minor. I'm not getting the vaccine because I had COVID already and it was less severe than the common cold. Antibodies and the immune systems memory will do just finer me and why would I vaccinate myself for something so extremely mild? Doesn't make much sense.
 








Holy shit after reading this thread, did Takeda recently drop its requirement for reps to have a college degree? Or a brain? Or are there just that many anti vax MAGA r*****s in my region?

Funny how quick the media/ Dems switched the narrative on the vax. I remember Biden/Pelosi/Kamala all saying they wouldn’t trust the vax developed under Trump. In fact, Cuomo wanted to set up a NY only study (probably at a nursing home). Pepperidge Farms remembers!
 




PF makes a decent cookie but it’s mainstay has to be the herb seasoned bread crumbs to be used for stuffing for turkey dinners. Typically, it’s a Thanksgiving Day meal in the US.

I also recall a time where HIPPA matters.

We will all be treated equally, but only if you are vaccinated - but we cannot ask—- but if you don’t show up for our meeting I guess we will know......

All good in STL my time suddenly freed up even more with no longer taking and picking up kiddos—— I’m still “choosing” to engage remotely, it’s what my customers “want”
 




You don’t have to be vaccinated. Just be prepared to be shamed, excluded from meetings, not able to meet with your partners, not have a manager in your car, but be sure you watch those D&I videos because everyone’s story is welcome here.
 




Freaky thing this virus. I was an anti-vaxer too, until my wife”s co-worker died from COVID at a healthy age of 48. Maybe it’s a rarity….but it does happen. You’re playing the lottery if you choose not to vax.
 
















I got the vaccinations. I thought long and hard before doing it. I don’t care if someone chose not to. Everyone has that right. I’m glad I had no reaction but I know people who did. This whole thing is a mess

A sensible response. Why does anyone care about anyone's health status? When you have non-sterilizing vaccines it seems absurd to mandate them. And even more absurd to mandate vaccine passports.

We are facing a two-tiered society now...and that should terrify anyone with half a brain.

Let people make their own health decisions. Calling humans "threats," "vectors," or "asymptomatic spreaders" dehumanizes and objectifies.

The argument that because something is “safe” or “tolerable” doesn’t give an employer the right to take away someone’s livelihood. And save me the “you don’t have the right to put me at risk” BS, the vaccine hasn’t slowed or stopped the spread. This is spineless move. And I’m already vaccinated for the record, but what I choose to do or not do for my health is no business of any employer.
