And the worst managers are....

So many bad managers in this company. And where to start with the worse ones? Seems the MW is thinning out and what about the SW? Probably two good areas to start.
You can only blame the reps for so long. At some point executive office has to look elsewhere.

DING! DING! DING! We have a winner!

The reps are hardly to blame when we keep bringing in double digit growth year after year continue to build profitablity in packs and anything else we can put BP back in to only to have corporate turn around and give it away.

Usually when turnover is extremely high it is the managers fault for not being a good manager. Mid West seems to have the highest I have seen in a while here at good ole Medline and miss seeing some of the good ones. Not passing the blame for a shitty rep here and there, but isn't the job of a manager to manage people, at ALL levels?

Or, am i just crazy?

Nope not crazy, you can't continuously have top performing reps leave the division and it not be somehow tied to management. Seriously, look at the people who left. There are a few shitty reps that left but the numbers don't lie. Expect some BIG losses soon.

The loss of these big GPO's and IDN's are definitely in part UPPER managements fault. However, the managers on the streets (definition = managers sitting at home), are to blame as well for being shitty managers. So many people in accounts cant stand my manager which ultimately gets to the C-suite and eventually means loss of business.
Yes, reps are to blame some too. However, if the managers were not always at home doing nothing, they may be able to actually MANAGE their sales staff. Usually if a sales rep sucks, the manager is to blame. As someones said a few posts back, a managers job is to manage and that does not mean DICTATE!

Jabba the hutt/ Tony Soprano in the south is a good one. He is a top notch consummate professional, his reps love and respect him, and is a real game changer in front of customers. Im speaking facetiously of course.

lol @ this comment. Never worked for them, but have respect for Soprano. From what I know his reps respect him a ton. Don't know much about Jabba, thought he was a rep?
