The dumbass young son is bragging they are the only tox lab in the country with their own foundation. There is a reason for this- It is fu**ing illegal and violates the AKS! How stupid can the Haupts be. The day of reckoning is coming!
 




This is crazy. I just went on Ammon Foundation's website. 84% of all money given to the foundation comes from Ammon Labs. This is so blatantly illegal. The foundation is giving seminars to clients and the clients are making it part of their treatment. This is the most obvious case of kickbacks I have ever seen. This sh*t has gone too far and the grinning a-holes that are the Haupts are going down. How can you sell against someone when they break the law? I am blowing the whistle and calling the State Comptroller and US Attorney in Newark!

Mako has one. They should be looked at, they give medical schools and treatment centers scholarships! I think if it was illegal their esquire would make sure not to let it happen.

Scholarships may be fine it may not. If you receive a sample from the patient that received a scholarship and that sample was billed to a medicare or medicaid then no it is not legal. Also to give free seminars to patients who are medicare & medicaid and that a client says is part of the treatment at their clinic is also illegal. There is a reason no labs do this. These are kickbacks! You can't give remuneration to a referrer of samples (doctor or clinic) or to the patients that you receive payment from a federal payer. This is very simple. When I first saw this foundation I went to my lab owner and said we should look at doing this. We then went to a college friend of the lab owner who used to work in the Southern District of NY US Attorneys Office. He said flat out, what Ammon is doing is a violation of the AKS statute. He then tipped off the SD NY and they are investigating. AKS violations are dreamed of by the Feds. It gives them huge headlines and the higher ups in DC love it! SDNY is all over this!

I visited multiple Ammon clients in North Jersey yesterday. I mentioned the foundation and their clients told me they have been questioned by investigators about Ammon's foundation. They are worried, just as the Haupts should be.

Not trying to start trouble, just stating the facts the what Ammon is doing with the foundation is a kickback and that I was told they are being investigated.

Also, who is M? I did not get cut as these accounts were never clients of my company. I have a base of business in multiple states that Ammon would kill for. Or should I say kickback through their charity for! Ammon accounts are working with investigators to save their own asses. If they have to give up Ammon, so be it.The day of reckoning is coming soon for Ammon and when that day comes I will be laughing my ass off.

The company has been in business for 20 years and is well respected. Haters need to stop slandering the company and worry about their own business before Ammon takes it.

Seriously this isn’t necessary!!! You may think Ammon isn’t on the up and up as many of us do, but do we have to disparage others to make ourselves look better. If you are a competitor then sell your product your services. Don’t talk bad about others. Honestly treatment providers won’t respect you either if you are going to bash another lab.
Just a thought.

I agree you have some valid points and somethings are not ethical or legal but let the authorities figure that out.

What Ammon is doing gives all labs a bad name. They are the same as Millenium & Bio-Diagnostic. Once the government catches us with Ammon, they will then investigate all the labs to see if they are doing anything illegal. It is an avalanche waiting to happen. If everyone in this industry would just wake up, not do illegal things to get work, bill within the guidelines and not up code, CMS would leave us all alone. It is pure greed that makes people like the Haupt's commit obvious AKS & Stark violations. Other labs can't sell and get business if the market is tilted by labs like Ammon. In the end the entire industry will suffer for the sins of a few!
