Why don’t our illustrious Directors (LOL), get out of their cushy offices and start helping out in the field? After all, the Onc RMLs having been doing their jobs for years! It’s about time they start getting their hands a little dirty and contribute something to this company.

That's right! We hired you to march in a strait line and we told you over and over again that you're not supposed to ask questions, never question authority and never, ever complain...
 




I wonder which RML (or RML Management) will be the first to be arrested for promoting off-label. Too many times, we have been asked to do that.

Also, if you think 7 products is too many, why are so many of us complaining about be bored? Maybe because what the RMLs do at Amgen does not resemble anything that an RML in another company does?

The question to ask is how many non-Amgen trials have the RMLs brought to Amgen? How many have been approved? How many do other Oncology MSLs bring in.

Now you know what we are losing people right and left, and the remaining are interviewing as fast as they can.
 












It looks like Elizabeth Faust is not coming back. They should bring back Larry Green. He was the only one that supported the rmls to senior mgmt. Does he still work at Amgen?
 








Are the Feds investigating the RML's activities for off label selling? I don't know about you guys, but as soon as I have a firm offer, I'm out of this disgusting hell hole!!!
 




I can't believe people are actually interviewing for the open positions at Amgen. What type of bottom dwellers are we getting who are comfortable jumping on a sinking ship?!
 




1) If any Amgen liaison "sold" drug then they should be fired. They aren't an off-label sales force.

2) EF is gone as are many of recent days based upon politics. That's not going to change under current leadership.

3) Larry didn't have a clue what liaisons did back years ago when he led the group and certainly doesn't now. I think he's the janitor for building 35 these days.

I read the same article and had the same thought. I particularly agree with this part:

They faulted senior managers for not recognizing the signs of workplace strife wrought by bad bosses. "The leaders above them who did nothing, who rewarded and promoted bad leaders ... represent an additional problem."
 




I spent a number of years at Amgen as an Oncology RML. Since then I have "seen the light" and moved on to a real job. I did not want to sell "off label" which was promoted actively by Ann Caudell, Frank Pompous Ass Pompilio, Tim the "Kimberly" Mc Namara, and other. Screech "codename LG" was a total idiot. The best RML's from this group left along with some of the inhouse people. Now all we have left are a bunch of "douche bags" driving Jeeps. They suck and they will pay for all this in TO.

I have been looking at a MSL job with Amgen, but am wondering how the layoff will affect the Amgen MSL. Seems to me the territories are much smaller at Amgen than at other companies. Will they consolidate territories in the layoffs? Should I keep pursuing this opportunity?

Apparently they had enough say in the management of the oncology RMLs to fire your ass. Perhaps it was for selling off label, which is illegal and against the RML compliance standard. Get a life and stop blaming others for your own actions.
